Sure, that can happen (no sarcasm, though Montpellier did beat a almighty PSG to French Ligue 1 title last season). But we are not going to meet Porto, Marseille, Palermo, Wolfsburg, Santos, Sao Paolo, and all the teams in Europe and in the world and smashall all of them into pieces.

thats funny. we couldnt smash anyone in group stage with ibra and silva (with BATE and freaking Plzen in group), what makes you think we'll be able to do it to french champion without those two?

Who said they'll let us loan him?
If anything, Juve will want us to pay up front the full 12Mil, given we apparently have the money to do so now.
I highly doubt they give a rats ass about how much money we need to put into our finances, and if it means we are less of a threat to them in Serie A and the CL, then all the better.
Same goes with Montpellier, why else are they asking for 18+ Mil for their player? Albiet 6Mil is a rediculous sum for a Milan defender target in a year we are without decent central defenders, but why would other teams weaken themselves to strengthen us when they don't need to? Especially when they potentially have to come up against us in the CL?
The only positives of Matri coming are:
1. Itailan (actually, that's not really a positive thing)
2. Allegri used to work with him and knows him well
3. He came out of Milan youth rank, so loyalty may not be an issue ("may not" as he is still a gobbi; and you know what you say, once a gobbi, always a gobbi. )
The negatives are:
1. He is 28;
2. He is not that good;
3. He is expensive (I value him at 5 million; just because Jube paid a lot of money to get him doesn't mean that he has high value - it only means that Jube were desperate and overpaid, and they certainly did.
4. He is a gobbi (buying him would mean that we finance Jube to purchase a big-name attacker, and why in the world would we want to do that? )
Overall, I don't want him here. I would rather recall Paloschi, if that's still possible. I believe that Allegri rates him too.
