Wow, I've never seen Galliani pissed like this, and talking bullshit against the coach before. There really is some unrest in Milanelo which makes me feel very worried about the new season. And he even has the nerve to say Real has better players on the bench, fukin asshole, buy some players and we'll have quality on our bench too.

I disagree, Mexes is a shoulder above all our other CB, and he will start once he gets fit. His experience is not to be undervalued when you lack lots of in in your entire team.

I've debated Mexes many times this summer already in his value to the team. Let me just be brutally honest, I don't particularly rate Mexes highly, I rate him on a similar level to Bonera (personally I consider the latter tactically better). As for experience, Mexes is 30, but what actually does he bring in experience? I don't remember him ever winning a league title and in CL has generally always faltered. For France, he was never really a part of the squad under Domenech and under Blanc his experience was hardly positive in a squad which routinely seems to implode. His personal performances at the Euros were hardly stellar either, with him being shambolic against Sweden.

Finally, I'm going to assume Acerbi is seen as a starter for us at the moment. I honestly shudder at the thought of two slow highly physical CBs who both have a penchant for pushing high up the pitch and risk getting caught on the break. Acerbi at least has time on his side to rectify his flaws.

I like to see more of Acerbi and Zapata (A & Z ) since they are young and can get better.

I agree with Dev. Bonera could have the same popularity as Mexes without injuries.

Bonera and Mexes are crap!! Dunno about Acerbi, havent seen too much from him. Zapata could become a big hit or a disaster, time will tell. But I'm sure our defence will suffer this year!

I don't think mexes is as bad as some of you say, i don't rate him as a great defender but i think he's good. bonera was always crap apart from a few games, acerbi looks like a monster 1 on 1 and in the air but is so terribly annoyingly slow!! looks like zapata is our man to pray on next season..

I am with Dev. My money is on Bonera/Acerbi. We should have a poll to predict the CD duo against Sampdoria, just for fun.
