Why are we not pushing for Sahin is beyond me..The guy is available for loan with the option to buy.

It's like spanish players. How many turkish players have been a success in Italy? And what has Sahin done for past year? Even though he is talented there are still some doubts to be taken into consideration.

At the end of the day Sahin is a talented player, but like whats already been said, what has he done to really proove himself so much. I think because he's played for madrid a lot of us rate him so highly, he's good and has just got to show what he can do and keep it consistent to be a top notch midfielder, for his apparent 8m price tag its a steal but i wouldnt be mad if we didnt get him..

ATM, im still tied up on what to expect from this mercato. Sometimes galliani and berlu really suprise me like the summer we bought ibra and robinho and prince, then other times they suprise me in a bad way, like when we sold sheva and bought oliveira or as we called him "goliveira" that wasn't a very good nickname turned out. Galliani stays to coy and twists his words around way to much, along with our history of mercatos sometimes being terrible sometimes being great both ways are always unexpected. Like i mentioned the summer of our 3 big signings, going into the next summer and aquilani being our "mr.x" when we were all coming up with names like hamsik hernanes schweini.. lol

and has something so terribly changed over the last year with us? we had no problem keeping ibra thiago and looking to sign tevez in january, and now we sold ibra and thiago and can't even afford a 10mln defender to replace him, yet with them we were ready to spend 20mln euros at the end of a loan option to buy deal on tevez, which ended up 10mln short of what man shitty was asking for. so many reasons why i cant confirm to myself if this mercatos going to be awful or really good.

Last season we still pulled in the 6th highest revenue in the world, and it shows that we should've been in green 29mln$

Unless we get creamed by Juve this weekend and by Samp the next weekend, I don't see us getting anyone new. B&G will give us all the usual bs of:

1.) We don't have money, all the sales were for the debt (Even though Berlu has billions in his other accounts....... and a lot more stashed for underage girls)

2.) We are chalk full of champions. (Pato, Ambro, Prince, Urby, Yepes, Bone(head)ra, Abate, Abbiati, Amelia, Cassano, Antonini, and Binho have all won the Scudetto = Champions. Muntari won everything = Super Champion)

3.) We don't need anyone, we are competitive (See, Madrid was a one-off. We even beat the psudo-CL Champions from last year Chelski with our youth team! We are strong enough........ until we get creamed badly again). If only Allegri would stop making stupid mistakes, we will be fine.

That said, we were in a bad state financially, ONLY because Berlu got fined 500+ Mil for having his bunga-bunga parties. As a result, he has to take it out on one of his businesses, guess we drew the short straw. Tevez was only possible thanks to the discord he had with Mancini and the fact that Galliani loves striking good deals that are cheap. Unfortunately, Citeh wanted more money, and the deal didn't work out. But yes, essentially we can call it either smart thrifty investing, or just being plain cheap. That we are, and have been since the turn of this century.

@wcmilan, sahin did not do much at madrid, but dont forget his dortmund days where he was one of the best midfielders in germany at such a young age.

Anyway, I find it totally hilarious how both us and Juve are trying so hard to lose the match tomorrow. We go in without Mexes and Ambrosini, they go in without Buffon and Pirlo.

Losing tomorrow's game will be killing two birds with one stone. One, the curse; two, losing the "Berlusconi" Cup hopefully would make Berlusconi lose some face.

Mourinho said hell let sahin go on loan but he isnt convinced on selling him because he knows what he's capable of and he had a tough season He's willing to give him a chance to prove himself out on loan.. I do t know if I'd like to have him with out the option to buy , if he plays so good just to see him leave would be bad..

I'm of two minds on that. If he's so good, B&G will see that we lost a quality midfielder come year end, and that might convince them that another quality midfielder is necessary i.e. another splash for an actual quality midfielder next summer.

Second, we would have a quality midfielder helping us out during the season. We're pretty much out of the running in the CL anyway, so basically we're just fighting for top 3 in Serie A, and I do believe Sahin can help us there.

Allegri's last interview states he does know what we need:

This squad is good and that is what we must work on. If then by August 31 we can bring in a striker, a midfielder and a left-back... We’ve got these players right now and I am happy, as we have the strength to challenge the biggest teams while aware of our limitations.

The onus is on B&G bringing in those pieces. Allegri can talk the talk, B&G need to walk the walk.
