Summer mercato 2012
Wow I just read the news on Pato, Sad Sad Sad

'..........................................................'
I guess its time to start believing in some kind of curse. I don`t see any other logical solution.
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
Now I understand why paid the extra 7M for Pazzini. Good thing that the news just came out (maybe Milan kept it well), otherwise, we would have been totally walked over by Inter in the negotiation.

--------------------

I don't know if there is any truth in the news, but it seems that Genoa just loaned us another player: Ze Eduardo, a 24-yo Brazilian striker. It doesn't seem that he has proven to be good enough for Genoa, but maybe he will be good enough for Milan. Icon_lol2

From wikipedia:
Quote:Genoa

Zé Eduardo formally signed by Genoa in summer 2011 and his contract documented in Lega Serie A on 3 August 2011. Zé Eduardo played in pre-season friendly. However after a long intensive season in Brazil, Zé Eduardo was injured and trained in the pool or other separate training. Zé Eduardo went back to Brazil in September, despite returned to the main squad temporary on 23 August. Zé Eduardo selected the no.9 who left by Mauro Boselli.

Zé Eduardo made his official club debut on 2 December 2011, losing to Milan 0–2. Zé Eduardo had a medical with West Ham United in late January but the loan deal collapsed. Zé Eduardo returned to Italy and played 4 substitutes in February, the first one was on 12 February.

On loan for Milan

On August 22, 2012, Zé Eduardo joined Milan in a season-long loan.

Some other comments I copied from R&B. Thought that I should share. Devilol

I just saw the news. Now Robinho-Pazzini-ElSharawy looks to be our starting attack. It doesn't sound so bad to me. If properly supported from FBs and midfield, they could work.

We could have predicted that Pato will stay the same as he is last 2 seasons. Healthy (and bad) for Brasil NT and good (when healthy) but mostly injured for Milan.

How often does that happen?Dodgy
Damn... I really feel sorry for Pato. Don't know what to say really. I'm gutted.

Ze Eduardo? Wow... There must be a million better solutions out there.

What a day! Sad
I'm so disappointed. I came up with a whole big solution months ago by adding young players, quality in midfield, and lowering wage bill.

Since then, we do not have 1 positive thing to announce. We've lost the legends that made me fall in love with Milan, we sold the best defender in the world, and we sold Ibrahimovic, a player I always wanted at Milan but understood deep down that he's not best for the team he's on.

The best part of our team was our CB pair (Nesta & TS) and Ibrahimovic. They're gone. Cassano is gone. Our best youth product (Merkel) is gone. Our culture is gone and without a slow transition, the great knowledge Of the Legends is lost.

The replacements are so beyond what I could have Imagined, I'm almost embarrassed. They're awful. Re-Signing Yepes, Ambro and Flamini, while loaning Constant, Ze Eduardo, and Zapata, and signing Montolivo and Traore free? Swapping Pazzini for Cassano? Not selling Pato for 35 M in January because they already knew Ibra was gone?

Are we really not spending anything?? Is Berlusconi bankrupt and keeping it a secret?? I can't believe the club is being run this way. Sometimes we as fans have different opinions from management but this is different. They're running the club into the ground in the name of FFP. If this keeps up, we won't need to worry about FFP, because we won't be in Europa League, let alone Champions League. Something is up in Via Turati.....
This is not normal, even by their standards.
breaking news: pato's joints and bones are made of porcelain and muscle fibers are built up of cotton candy. COME ON ALREADY! This is ridiculous... either he is not normal or the medical staff learned their profession from E.R. and Grey's anatomy.....

From one of the comments on goal.com

Elmago we know that feel my brother. we know it all to well.

Exactly my thoughts...this is bullshit...whatever they r doing at milanello, I can't understand how hard it is to figure out what it is that they r doing differently from the brazil training that is obviously leading to these injuries...unless it's the freakin weather or something
Ze Love?!?!? UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

Btw, a Brazilian guy works at Milan Lab said today in a interview that Ze Love was a personal request from Allegri... I don´t even know what to say. SMH...

Regarding Pato, he also played in Copa America without any injure... how much time Pirlo missed injured last season at Juve? I suggest people take a look at a G. Dello Sport article showing the amount of time players spent injured at every team in Serie A. Look the difference between Milan and Juve just as an example...

Milan Lab + transfer market + 3 spots for Serie A = out of CL next year

Before Olympics a specialist said on TV here how different is Milan Lab approach from physical preparation in Brazil, detailing everything and calling(gently) MilanLab obsolete.

The numbers every year shows we have a problem. It´s not only Pato...
