Summer Mercato 2011
exactly, City is certainly crazy enough. I thought Chelsea has gone back to sanity, then they splashed 50 million on Torres who has so far failed to register for one single goal. As for Real Madrid, Mourinho is a fan of Ibrahimovic.

for the record, I certainly don't mind Ibra staying. He provides the power we lack upfront, but if he does leave, I won't cry a river either.
we should sell ibra and buy Forlan...its interesting. we even dont own ibra yet...We'll pay just 8 m euros if we sign him...
Lets sell ibra and buy Forlan. selling ibra and signing Forlan and his fee, plus his wages...We wont have much money after this operation, we cant sign Ganso+one of them this players...we even cant sign a 10 m euros with that money...
so please dont dream...

Pato one more time showed us that we cant depent on him,cuz he can injure himself any moment of the game.
selling Ibra for Forlan would be a step back if we want to build a future.

Forlan can't cost much cause of his age, can he?

Forlan makes less than half of what Ibra makes.

I don't think you realize how much Ibra costs Milan. 22-24 million after taxes, before you count performance bonus. All this for a player who gets suspended for most critical time of year? A player Milan didn't even need to beat Inter? I mean for those wages you'd expect 'irreplaceable' Add fact he's costing 8 mila year in his transfer fee..... i mean that's a lot

Getting rid of Ibra would give us more financial flexibility

y? We got Pato + a billion players in youth system who are rated. Plus Robinho/Cassano.

Ibra will be 30 next year, so it's not like he's a long term plan either

Pretty much echo's my sentiment.

I just wanna see some creativity and youth in midfield.

Loving clarence's form but still....
If you ask me I think it would be very smart to sell ibra. We have proven that our team is not ibra dependant rather he is milan dependant.. What I mean by that is we played around him we couldve done so with any other player and their statistics would show greater then most others.. Plus his recent stupidity shouldn't go unnoticed.. He did help us but not entirely - he mainly just gave us a starting boost.. Sell ibra and get cavani .. Cavani pato robinho cassano ganso pastore hernanes mexes astori taiwo marchetti . Those players all can be bought.. You guys have to keep in mind seria a is ours, berlu is willing to invest, and a lot of huge wages will be off our shoulders so its not crazy to say we can buy all of those players.. Plus its likely well win coppa itlaia too.. -------pato--------cavani------
-------------ganso--------------
---ambrosini-hernanes-boateng-
-taiwo------silva---nesta-----abate--
----------------marchetti----------------

Subs ; pastore,robinho,cassano,pirlo,gattuso,flamini,emmanuelson,mexes,astori,abbiati,zambrotta,antonini

I know it seems like a lot but that's depth. Depth is what we need to win many trophies especially ucl.. I'm sure our big names won't mind sitting on the bench once in a while and they probably won't because that team is capable of competing for coppa, schudetto and ucl so there will be many games and plenty of time to for them all to play.

A.Madrid renewed his contract on 2009 with 5 m euros wages...Tottenham boss last january said that they couldnt sign Forlan because of his wages which is more than 100.000 Pounds a week...A.Madrid rejected 15 m euros from Spurs last january...we'll just pay 8 m euros to Barcelona next summer if we sign ibrahimovic... ibra is earning 9 m euros a year... He makes 12 m euros a year with bonuses...

Forlan in Serie A is unproven, he didnt show anything in CL yet...He had a great European League and world cup last year.

Okay, think about that we sold him...A.Madrid is in economic crisis, so they need cash. i hope they can accept in 3 parts...we will pay 5 m euros to them in 3 parts...

We will have 3 m euros saved from ibra...We wont pay that 8 m euros to Barcelona and used his 5 m euros to land Forlan. We probably will save at most 2-3 m euros from sales. Lets say that he is accepting his current wage(which is very unlikely) it makes 4 m euros saved from wages...

3+4=7 m euros or less. i say its less because Forlan will demand more than it, cuz it was his wage on 2009.

Do you think that you could buy Hernanes+Ganso with that 7 m euros?

Btw Udine is an interesting market. i always rated Handanovic as a great Gk. Armero, İsla, inler, Sanchez, Asamoah,
Zapata, Benatia e.t.c.

Players from youth, i remind you that Milan only produced Abate from youth sides in the last 20 years. Only 1 player.
Plus from current players, Merkel showed that he can be a world class player in the future...

İnter sold ibra for 40 m euros and Eto'o...They sold ibra cuz they replaced him with Milito and Eto'o...with that money they signed 5 world class players...We are not in same status with them...

Okay, if Chealse is come up with a offer Essien plus 40 m euros for ibra, i'd accept it.

We won first inter game with ibra...We won many games with him. There are not much big and strong CF nowadays on the market...Drogba passed his best. Lukaku is so young and unproven. Torres failed at Chealse and costs so much.
Forlan...a step back...Getting rid of ibra and signing Forlan just makes us 7 m euros more rich... Just look at his stats this season...

We cant depent on Pato... Cassano and Robinho are different kind of players. so we will need a world class CF if we dont keep ibra...
See, i really disagree. First off Forlan is world class.

second to say we need world class CF? What do you mean we can't depend on pato, robinho, cassano. Every club should be so lucky to have that quality upfront.

We sell Ibra, City would pay 30 mil. We've made a profit right there. That money + savings on wages can bring a player like Hernanes and Forlan (if payment is stretched)

Pato's injuries don't worry me. He's not injury prone. He didn't have any problems 2 years ago. It's just some bad luck. It happens. NExt you're gonna try to tell me Pirlo's injury prone cause of this year. Just ignoring a decade of basically no injuries.

And say what you want about Milan youth, but there's been a clear plan to re-invest in youth 3-4 years ago. MErkel is first one we've seen, but there are atleast 10 players in milans primavera who are starters/stars for there countries u20 squads. That's some good potential. Verdi, Beretta, Carmona, Fossati, Strasser, Merkel, Hottor, calvano, Santoncito, Romanogli, Albertazzi, etc. Will all of them make it? No. But I believe we'll see more than 1
How possible we can sell ibra when we dont even own him fully? We'll sign ibra first for 24 m euros... then we will sell him to City for 30m euros...Okay. think about we did it...6 m euros profit...Regarding wages, Forlan's 2009 wage was 5 m euros. Tottenham boss said that they didnt sign him because his wages s too much. more than 100.000 pounds a week.
Right? ibra's wage is 9 m euros. we will save at most 4 m euros from it...Forlan costs more than 15 m euros. His wages are close to ibra... Saved money is 10 m euros...How possible we can sign both Forlan and Hernanes at the same time? with just 10 m euros? When Forlan alone costs more than 15 m euros. Hernanes costs 20-25 m euros. Their wages...

Cassano is SS, Robinho can play SS, Only Pato can play as Central striker... because of his injuries, we cant depent on him full season... Pato's an injury prone or what...i just look at his injury record. Last season, this season. The season before...i hope to see more than 1...

Regarding Cb's, we linked with Coates last summer...Then Lovren from Lyon...There r not much quality Cb's on the market, David Luiz was a miss...Hummels, Subotic are highly rated but they are slow...Howedes s an interesting defender too...
I think people are assuming that ManCity or Real is willing to pay Milan 35mil for Ibra, while Milan can always get great deal on players like paying A. Madrid 5mil for Forlan and 5mil to Lazio for Hernanes.
Also Pato can go a whole season without any injury due to Milan lab, something that he had not done ever.

It is always good to think positive, but being realistic is more important.

As Milan only recently paid 24m for Ibra, I really doubt any team would pay more for him. Even if there is the case, do remember that Milan still have not pay the 24M to Barcelona yet.
Signing someone like Forlan or Hernanes will cost any where between 18-25mil each in transfer fees, as they won't come cheap even if their teams need to sell. Since they are great players and a lot of teams are willing to pay that amount for their services.

As for Pato, even if he is not injured, you can't possibly think he can be in good form throughout the whole season?
