I remember the days when we used to go to Palermo and REALLY struggle. They were a robust, mid-table Serie A side - well run and hard to beat.

Changed times.

I remember as well^, they were always difficult for us. It's still strange they got relegated, I'd think they had enough quality to stay up. Players like Abel Hernandez,Miccoli and Ilicic should have given them quite an advantage over teams like Chievo/Pescara etc.

i dont think abel hernandez is that good
he never make an impact in serie a imo he is just a regular player nothing special
but ilicic surely has some talent but looks like he cant take the whole team by him self

4th in the league with 7 points after 4 games, let's have him back to replace Allegri. Why not? No one can be worse than Allegri. Icon_lol2 I am happy for Gattuso, seriously. He may not be a good coach at all, but no one deserves working with that scumbag called Zamparini.

Ok, it seems I didn't do my research properly (Damn you lazy wikipedia contributors Angry): There's been played six rounds - not four - so far in Serie B, and Palermo lost the last two, so Gattuso's record is 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. Still not awful, but clearly merits the sack if you're Zamparini.

It was in a Serie B, but he still did better than Allegri points-wise Big Grin

And well... Zamparini would fire himself if he had the desire to coach the team.

If Inzaghi gets the first-team, does that mean Gattuso is available for the youth? Poor kids, they'll get some nice slaps in the face Big Grin
