There were reports that we weren't going to be easy on Fiorentina because they were nasty to us in the summer on Ljiajic.

I guess Galliani is either senile or just evil wanting to drag down Milan with him.
Why the fk are we loaning out Matri! I'd sell him for anything at this point

To loan him to a competing club and pay his salary is ridiculous. May as well keep him and put him on the bench and have him fetch people water.

I agree. This has to be the most ridiculous transaction ever, from buying to now loaning. Seriously, what the fuck? Angry
Guys it's like you haven't been watching Matri play...do you think anyone is actually stupid enough to buy that piece of crap ...well aside from us?!

As for loaning him to Fiorentina, let's face it, they really are not our competitors this season anymore...hell let's hope we can compete with Verona, Genoa, and Parma at this stage...I guess they thought of this as a win-win situation because if Matri keeps up with the same brilliant performances with Fiorentina, he's gonna cost them that CL position and that will be sweet revenge for the Ljajic saga, whereas if, by some miracle, he actually delivers, we would have helped another team finish above Inter and hopefully prevents them from playing in Europe next year as well...just like us Confused

Anyway, it seems confirmed that it's just a 6 month loan and Fiorentina will be paying his wages in full

Also talks that Petagna will be coming back to take his place/play the youth CL with the primavera which is definitely better than warming Sampdoria's bench

These 2 transfers (among many others) should never have happened in the 1st place and it's better late than never to fix a mistake
Wow wow if that's not acknowledgement of a mistake then I don't know what is. Dumb to get Matri and dumb to let Petagna go. Did he even play for Samp? If we had actually agreed to pay Matri's wages to play for our competitor, I think we would have hit new lows of stupidity.
Siamo a posto cosi.

Well, I guess things could be worse. A penny saved is a penny earned, and let's worry about him again in the summer.

Speaking of which, is Traore still our player only out on loan?

I read of a free loan for Matri, definitely not we'd pay his wages. Sad part is I wouldn't be surprised if that was to happen.

Milannews says Napoli will meet Verona for Jorginho today. 7.5m to buy him with an additional 2.5m dependant on performances. I'm feeling kind of gutted on this one.

Lets be honest , we approached about Ljaic but never made a realistic bid. They wanted 12 million we wouldnt match it Roma offered that much and Fiorentina PLUS the player accepted.
It was our cheapness that screwed us not Fiorentina they were pissed at missing on UCL , but would of sold if we matched their valutaion ...which we wouldnt.

We are not rivals of Fiorentina this year , theyre 15 points ahead of us challenging for UCL place , US we are 6 points off relegation. Not rivals not this year at least.

Sad but true

I was hoping that we'd trade Matri with Hernanes but apparently Galliani allowed him to choose his next club and he chose Fiorentina. I bet deep down he knew he wouldn't be able to compete with an oft-injured 35-year old striker Klose and picked the club whose pair of strikers will surely be out for months. Chicken! Icon_lol2
