I wouldn't take Diego, he didn't do well for Juventus, MVB should be renewed for another year, after that if he preforms well next season maybe one more season until he begins to start showing a decline does anyone know when we will officialy announce and present taiwo/mexes?

Giving van Bommel a 2 year contract is just looking for trouble. I agree that we should renew him for another season, but two years just means we have to hold on to him for one more year when we aren't sure whether or not he will be deadweight draining our economic resources. The senators we decide to renew should only get 1 year contracts.

On the positive, MVB will be on wages of about 1.6 mil, which isn't a major drain. That's standard backup wages at a big club.

Our problem was paying players like kaladze- 4 mil ugh... or janku, oddo- 3 mil

You obviously didn't read my post thouroughly did you.. I said ganso at CAM not CM, hernanes at CM is what i said.. and i didn't say anyone told me robinho was being sold i said i was worried he would be sold because of all these players we've been linked with, i said him or cassano might. Allegri wants a midfielder who makes runs into the box. how wouldnt two attack minded midfielders work? Pirlo is not defensive but creative, so is hernanes so maybe my theory will work . and how could it be 100% not to happen ganso&hhernanes we don't know this. Midfield isn't about defending but more creating and keeping possesion, if a midfield is great at keeping possession i dont see a reason why they could be mediocre defensively.

What I'm saying is that it's IMPOSSIBLE. Van Bommel would be the CDM and our midfield would look as such:

Allegri favors a Diamond midfield with proper CDM to defend and set up play. Then he likes 2 dynamic midfielders along with an ACM. He has not had a Proper ACM to work with but I'm sure that's his priority. You wouldn't have 2 Creative midfielders in the middle as if V Bommel is out of position, we're screwed...

I think i got a bit defensive but you're right, but at the same time what i was trying to put across is that I think our defense is capable of dealing with everything for the most part if our full backs play a more defensive roll.. i wouldnt say we're exactly screwed though if we carried that formation out with hernanes in that position just because we'd do alot better going forward, boateng can make runs in the box but also he's not to bad at his defensive game because of his physicality, i put that formation as if our goal was champions league because its played at such a high pace and if we play at a high pace the other team is forced to hit back at a high pace or if they want they can all stay back but probably get raided by shots on goal and attempts.. counter attack is also a big deal in CL, hernanes can push up on the counter and MVB can take his central roll - sort of like a rotation when needed, but when our players are all in there place it would be better for him to be at CM because he can create better then MVB, it would isolate the wings better and with the rotation tactic it would be the same as having him at CM. If that could be carried out properly I think it would be amazing for the champions league. Scudetto unless we face big teams I think with our new additions we'll win games regardless because we'll have more players that can make something out of nothing ..

On another note a player we've been linked with and also admitted he likes us, Hulk is definitely not a possibility anymore unless city or madrid come along because they've bought most of his remaining rights and signed an extension until 2016, buy out clause 100 mln, i dont even think they would accept anything under 70 to be honest which isnt close to worth it, 25-40 is a good price for Hulk. 100MLN? We have another zamparini here..


Off topic, inter want eden hazard. he's a great talent but mainly at dribbling and his speed is also good, but i think he's a little over rated as i'd like to see him do any of that in Seria a or CL, plus inter doesn't have the best reputation for developing players into world class, if coutinho was at milan ibet he would already be capable of first team play at minimum, he's capped over 100 games and managed 16 goals, that's not all that bad considering his position we should steal him like we keep doing with everyone they want

I believe that Oddo extended his contract (from 1 year to 2 years) with a half salary. That means that we should get one year "free" service from him.

That 3M figure should be his two-year total value, but of course I could be wrong.

Xudong, you are spot on, thats also make it easier for Milan to sell him. I am seeing a Oddo plus 15mil for Hernanes coming up.

Just want to be clear, the Financial Fairplay does not put into account the taxes the teams pay. For example: Ibra's salary is 9mil, which Milan basically paid about 18mil in total due to taxation. However, at least according to the stuff I had been reading, Ibra's salary is only 9mil to the FFP. Reason for that is b/c different countries tax differently.

Honda can play defense, make no mistake about that. And he is not a small player like Nagatomo, he is about 6 feet tall.
Hernanes can play as a DM, if the other two CM are Boateng and Honda or someone like them, players who have a high work rate.

Anyhow, lets wait for the summer to see who are the midfielders Milan is signing. To me, I will be surprise if I don't see at least 2 of the Gattuso, Flamini, Ambro, MVB, Pirlo and Seedorf, leaving.
