Looks ike there is difficulty with Rami now Galliani is looking a discount and wants to pay half of the 7 million so 3.5 million but would go as high as 4 million (4 million ( we are a joke) Valencia will not budge from the agreed 7 million , and know Man Utd Schalke Galatasaray are interested and will pay the 7 million.
We're looking for the same on Taarabt 4 million QPR won't even enter negotiations at that price.

IDK we are pathetic well MGT are.Milan became a joke my friends used to take the piss , but now they don't bother and nobody even laughs at Milan because they just don't care.We're in a crap situation and while some people point to Liverpool Atletico Roma Napoli and how they got back to challenging fairly quick , its very different at Milan we won't be signing the likes of Suarez Sturridge Higuain Callejon Strootman Benatia and countless others.We can't even get 2 players in Rami and Taarabt whose clubs want no part of them...when we had pre agreed fee's we piss them off and try to lower the agreed fee's by 50%

My worst fear is that we're the new Leeds United... I hope not and I think we're some way off that point still.

Anyway, as Maldini said we need patience. We need a long-term plan investing both in youth and the first team. I hope someone in our management can see that and that someone is willing to invest.

We need patience - I agree. In fact, I want to say that most fans would be content if we simply stick with our own youngsters, even if they may suck. but no, Galliani had to send away Petagna and spent a fortune on Matri, and even in the winter, he just had to buy Essien. Are we poor? Probably, but it is this damn Galliani who broke us.

Seedorf openly said that yes, he'll still be the coach for next season, yet rumors about his less than idyllic relationship with Galliani still persist, and this came from Mediaset's Pellegatti, not some obscure journos. Sure his future was deservedly questioned when we went through bad spell last month, but now it almost seems that he's set up to fail no matter what. Fail to qualify for EL, he's sacked because officially that's the target the club set; qualify for EL third (?) qualification round and it could disrupt our summer pre-season-cum-money-making games in US.

the weird thing is, what has actually happened? someone, pretty justifiably, worrying we're going to do a leeds united, to me that looks likely. I don't see how we thing we think can hold onto ELS, DS or balotelli if we can't get 4m for someone like taraabt and agazzi is our main GK target. I read Torino are now monitoring ELS situation, how come Torino have more spending power than us?

this would be understandable had we gone through some awful catastrohpe, but we won the league, then came 2nd and then just decided to sell off our two best players for mega bucks and have been complaining about money ever since.

If Seedorf's sacked, it'll be due to reasons outside of the results, that much seems evident. Apparently, on top of a poor relationship with Galliani (who I still feel is arguably our biggest problem), he doesn't get on with some key players (Montolivo, Abate and even Poli all mentioned). Also, he apparently wants to change things too quickly, reports suggesting he wants 15-18 players out this summer, which the club can't do.

On that last statement, I agree, it's too much to expect the club can have such a massive clear out, something which is necessary, but as I recently mentioned when some of my thoughts on the summer, is just unrealistic.

Again though, it's Galliani's leadership that's lead us to this situation. We've reported 15-16m losses for this past year...we paid 11m on Matri, never mind wages.

Just take the useless players out Copolla Constant Silvestre Vergara Noce Traore Didac Saponara Matri Robinho.We could get rid of all those & just use the players that are left we'd still have a 25 players but cut about €17M in wages & at a guess get about €20M in fees.
It is possible to lose 10 players.Those guys are the shits.

Guys, we are not going to be a new Leeds United. We are in fact doing exactly the opposite of what Leeds did. The reason we're having problems at the moment is because the company is downsizing due to FFP and a difficult financial climate in Italy. Milan spends what it can afford, and that's the way it should be. Leeds, however, kept spending money they did not have (their finances were generally out of control). It was a bubble waiting to burst, and it did.
We would have had better reason to worry if Milan still operated the way it did in 2004, because that would for sure see us turn into another Leeds. As much as I dislike our lack of squad investment (and the poor choices made by the management in other areas), I feel like I have to support the effort to turn Milan into a sustainable business. It's the only way forward, and while it hurts now, it will be better for us in the long run.

True, but 15-16m isn't that bad, considering that we didn't sell any major players in 2013. In 2012 we had a deficit of only 5m, but that was due to the sales of Silva and Ibra. We would have been 50-60m in the red, had it not been for the money we received from PSG. So when you look at the results for 2013, the management is obviously working hard to turn our financial situation around. Our big problem now is that we're not qualified for the CL next year. Fortunately Fininvest will inject about 50 million into Milan, so in the end we should be alright.

So Allegri has asked for Matri?!! He wants him in London to play for the Spurs. There has to be some manloving involved here. No other reasonable explanation.
