Its just so they can give him a pro contract in June ehen he's 16, to tie him down and not have him snatched by English or Spanish clubs.

A couple of interesting news stories today. The first is Ante Coric, apparently a young Croatian prodigy has said he wants Milan should he move to Italy (I think Roma were linked to him):

I don't know anything about him myself, so I'd love to hear anything from anyone with more insight.

Other news is that after his remarks on Balotelli, Silvio has put him up for sale:

Clearly this will annoy a lot of fans (mathiask springs to mind ), but honestly I don't see it as a negative. For all his talent, Balotelli for me has never applied himself correctly at Milan and is much more likely to be someone who fails to fulfill his potential than ever be a star. The money, if reinvested (that's a big if), would allow us to build some good foundations in the squad.

Edit: Also, I mentioned it in the Primavera thread, but Cosino La Ferrara has signed his first professional contract with us. Like Mastour, he's 15 and was part of the Allievi this year. I know very little else about him.

I will watch the game at the weekend, even though i really dont want to. We are a club that simply cant do anythingright at the moment. Seedorff has done nothing but help get us through this season and we are going to sack him? such a shame considering we went to him and asked him to stop playing.

Its not like we'll sell Balo and get an Immobile or Lewandowski Costa etc.. The fee mentioned is €25-30M lets say we get more after a good WC best case €40M..Poli Taarabt Rami Balo installment Matri payment thats €25'ish Million gone ,so what will €15M get you providing we get €40M for Mario.Add up the goals & assists of our attackers minus SES and its shocking.Im not against his sale but we still wont sign 1 genuine world class player if he is sold.

He will probably get his first Serie A match (5 minutes) at the age of 16, then 2nd appearance for Milan when he is 32, after we first sell him and then get him back on a Bosman when finally his contract with whoever runs out.
