Summer Mercato
Galliani comes to Balotelli's "defence". Call me a cynic but to me this looks like a move to up Balotelli's value and I think we are looking to sell him. My quick translation:

Quote:I don't understand why only Balotelli is being criticised, being the only attacker to score and the only attacker who created goal scoring opportunities. The other attackers didn't even create the circumstances. It almost looks like Balotelli left. I don't understand, the concept eludes me. Clearly Balotelli is the only footballer Italy has, because he is the only one being talked about. […] In my opinion the others weren't to be seen on the pitch, so I don't understand

If Arsenal is a real possible destination I am pretty sure his value hasn't changed much. I don't see Wenger changing his mind based on three games when the player is already well known, the season we had with him, etc.
Apparently we're interested in Davide Zappacosta. I know pretty much nothing about him other than he's apparently a RB and Juve are looking at him:

As with Baselli, I find it interesting he's an Atalanta youth product.

A combination of Zapata and Diego Costa? Big Grin

Alessandro Matri to Sampdoria for Shkodran Mustafi? According to Calciomercato... Will we ever get rid of him? Devilol
Balotelli is the only striker to scored, mainly because he was the only striker who played in the first two matches. Galliani is an idiot, simple as that.
Pepe Reina's future at Liverpool is unsure. Why don't we sign this GK? Not many GK at that level available at this moment.
Right now our team is

---------------Abiatti---------------
DES---Zapata/Mexes--Alex-Cpnstant
---Poli---DeJong---Muntari--------
Menez-------------------------SES
--------------Balotelli------------

Its not good enough it will cut it.

Iturbe has turned into another Tevez or Ljajic or Cesc.We do not have the money to pay for HE.The Kaka must leave is B.S we don't pay players wages in whole at the start of the season and hes gone in Jan.You watch Kaka leave then it'll be we must sell Robinho before getting Iturbe he'll go then it'll be Mexsex....and so on.
Anyone heard anything on the situation on Rami? From what I last heard this was meant to be a key week to get the deal done, but so far it's all silent and everything's focused on Iturbe.

Speaking of who, there's some new, and hopefully positive, news regarding him...

First, just to confirm what I mentioned yesterday, Inzaghi has called Iturbe to say he'd have an important role at Milan:

http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-mi...ino-148295

Pedulla says that Galliani will ask Berlusconi to help put forth the money for Iturbe (25m) regardless of the ongoing nonsense with Kaka and others:

http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-mi...one-148290

On this one I want to comment that Galliani is responsible for this mess. While I want Iturbe, I do hope Berlusconi makes it clear that if he is to put forward the money, Galliani is still responsible for ensuring these unwanted players leave. Regarding Kaka, I read this interview with Sao Paulo's vice president, who don't seem to be able to get an agreement over Kaka's wage demands:

http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2014/06/...ts-a-snag/?

For Kaka, I would ask is he really going to lose that much if he takes a wage cut for 6 months to play for the club that launched him?

Back to Iturbe, Juve have cooled on him and are looking more at Ibarbo now:

http://www.milannews.it/calciomercato-mi...rbo-148299

Finally, Iturbe's father has spoken:

http://www.milannews.it/rassegna-stampa/...eal-148302

Simply put, he says his son wants to play for a top club and ideally in CL, but he's aware he may need a little patience to grow.

There's talk of Dzemaili to replace Montolivo:

http://www.milannews.it/primo-piano/si-r...ivo-148300

That's a poor decision if we get him imo.

Nocerino's transfer to Torino is now looking unlikely:

http://www.milannews.it/rassegna-stampa/...iro-148312

Apparently if this is the case, we'll just let him join the group for the summer and let Inzaghi decide if he wants to keep him.

Regarding Balotelli, Galliani has obviously made some strong defensive comments for the player, but truth is the purpose is also likely to be related to the sudden drop in interest in the market following his world cup. There's a chance we're stuck with him now:

According to Di Marzio, we were looking at Shaqiri, though he looks likely to be going to Liverpool:

I'd take that if it's possible. I don't really know anything about Mustafi other than he's had a decent season at Samp and we could do with the odd CB to hopefully replace Zaccardo. The deal maker for me is Matri leaves.

I thought the name sounded familiar, now I know why!! Devilol
yesterday De Rossi slammed Balotelli saying that Italy needs real men and not Panini stickers or characters, that they are of no use to the national team. Obviously referring to Balotelli (when he put his own picture over every other name of the Italian national team in the Panini book a week or so ago and put up a picture of it)

Today other reports are coming out that Prandelli told Mario to "shut up" in the locker room in the halftime talk during their last game, before ending up subbing him at the start of the second half.

Apparently he was telling Mario to change his attitude on the field in the next half or he's gonna sub him, Balotelli continued to complain saying to leave him alone and to just trust in him. Which prompted Prandelli then to tell him to shut up. (And subbing him after).
