If that's true we could have loaned him out not sell him outright, but knowing our management's greed they couldn't refuse that 6 million.

Is Essien a better player than Cristante? Does he deserve to play more than Cristante? We can't sell him for a good sum of money and that's the only reason why he's in our team.

Well, ask yourself this: Who would you rather have come on the pitch when we're in the last ten minutes of a decisive match for 3rd place in the league against a team like Roma or Fiorentina, and we're leading 3-2? Cristante or Essien? I know who I'd prefer.

That being said, Cristante is a very talented young player. Unfortunately we are probably going to have to let some of our talents go as time passes. The benchmark for being kept by Milan should be players like El Shaarawy and De Sciglio, who at a very young age were able to become regular starters for Milan. Cristante is talented and will grow into a fine player. Players like the two I mentioned though, will grow into being truly world class, and that is what we need.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked by the sale of Cristante. I truly believed we had a project to develop young players and integrate into first team. Now he's been sold it proves the youth project was a lie and DES, Mastour are game targets. Cristante's the best midfielder Milan's produced since Albertini. It's taken over 20yrs to produce somebody of his calibre and now he's gone. This' a player who had numerous requests from top teams like Chelsea, Atletico as well as Benfica. He's better than Poli, Muntari and Saponara right now. I can only imagine how great he'll be in a couple of years. What makes it worse is he's Italian too.

What does Inzaghi know? This' the guy who starts Bonera every game and plays Honda RW. What does he know about youth? He think's we're better of keeping Niang and Saponara. So Inzaghi know's better than Benfica, Atletico who've got a habit of sniffing out great youngsters?

Just think Benfica paid 6m for a 19yo with just 1 senior game's experience last season. You can imagine how much he'll be worth in a couple seasons. Idiot Galliani strikes again.

Sorry no. He blocked Saponara + Niang's loan/sales so why not Cristante? Pippo wannabee Guardiola's equally to blame.
