Looks like by youth project management meant our youth teams bringing up raw talent, rather than buying young talents for the 1st team like we did ELS. I don't mind, homegrown talent is always better. For one, we don't have to pay ridiculous prices and take gambles, and loyalty is always more prominent in a player we've grown as a pose to bought, even though we haven't been loyal to our former prospects like Aubameyang,Darmian etc. by offloading them so quickly.. Times have changed though(maybe not, Cristante), I'm looking forward to seeing more of Di Molfetta in the future, apparently Modic is a very good player too. We have some guy named Maks Barisic I believe as well, who's apparently another super talent though I haven't heard much of him lately.

It ended 4-0 yesterday. There's a number of players to keep an eye on. Di Molfetta is one I have high hopes for after following him for a couple of years. Donnarumma has a very bright future ahead of him. He's a very young GK, but already has shown good things in Primavera (particularly yesterday's match). Ivan De Santis in defence is another who has a good future, as well as Mastalli who most of us saw during preseason (he was captain yesterday). I'm also rather curious about Mattia El Hilali, who seems to have quite a bit of talent.

Whether they have a bright future at Milan is another matter.

My bad! I thought that the Donnarumma who got highly rated reviews is Antonio. It is actually his brother?

Yeah Antonio Donnarumma grew up in the Milan youth set up, but is now 24 and I think a backup to Perin at Genoa. I checked up and Gianluigi is his younger brother and I think he's about 15, but is already considered good enough for Primavera.

Manuel Locatelli, a midfielder of similar age to Mastour has been personally praised by Berlusconi recently and was involved in the match versus Pescara. This is one guy to keep an eye on, as he's meant to be amazingly talented.

Now that we are talking about family ties, I wonder that young kid Manuel Locatelli is related to our former player Tomas Locatelli who played briefly for Milan in 1990s and even scored a goal in CL against Goteborg. Tomas Locatelli was highly praised but never got a chance to fully showcase his potential in Milan.

I did wonder that when I first heard about the one in our youth set up about a year ago, but I can't find anything to suggest they're related.

It's a pity they don't get the opportunity to test their strength out in the Youth CL this year since our first team didn't qualify . Last year we thought we had an excellent team and actually got wrecked in the youth CL. Dominating the Primavera doesn't mean as much as we think it does after all
