Winter mercato January 2015

And now Barbara is towing the line just like B&G.

Well Galliani did actually resign and publicly stated his dissatisfaction with the club. I'll be interested to see what happens when we finish 6th this year. You maybe right and nothing happens or somebody's held accountable (Puppet Pippo). I only wish Milan Merda fans were as passionate as Inter's. Do you remember how Thohir blocked Vucinic/Guarin swap last minute because of fans' Twitter revolt? Or how about sacking Mazzarri because everybody hated him? What the fuck are our fans doing? People never give Mancini any credit for his achievements. Facts are he's won domestic trophies in every country he's managed and league titles in 2/3 (runner up in Turkey). When he's not won, he's often finished runner up in league/domestic cups. Sorry but saying things like "Milan were more interested in UCL and underperformed" is absurd. Regardless of calciopoli, winning 3 scudetto's back to back is impressive. Similarly, it's not like Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal suddenly stopped spending once he took over City. He took them from midtable status to champions in 2 years.

Also to call the guy a European flop is wide of the mark. He took Lazio to UEFA Cup semi finals and Inter to CL QF twice (qualifying from group 4/4 times). He definitely underachieved in Europe with City but Pellegrini's hardly fared better. Looks like City will fail to escape the group again this year. Don't forget he knocked out Juventus at CL group stage with Galatasary last year. You can see how badly they're struggling this year with Prandelli in charge. So yes, he's a world class coach, a proven winner I'd take any day over Puppet Pippo. DevilolDevilol

Nah.Not world class for me not even close.Took City from mid-table to champions in two years DevilolDevilol sugar coating to say the least. The hundreds upon hundreds of millions of pounds was the main factor. For me he's a good coach not great certainly world class thats just absurd.Yes he was and still is a flop at Inter and at City. He's solid a level above Allegri but nowhere near world class.Doesn't matter as its your opinion and I have mine.

Why do you always bring up Inter ? Vucinic Guarin was stopped because fans were irate. What did our fans do . well Milan fans with stadium wide banners and protests against the Matri no grazie , difference is our Owner is a ego maniac who doesn't care what Milan fans or anyone else thinks.
He's old delusional and a parasite on the club at this stage.Milan fans have protested against the MGT players , blocking the team bus from leaving protesting at games outside games to Galliani .Is this the first time you heard this ?...Im pretty sure you'd take a Inter jersey over a Milan one Wink as well as wanting Mancini over Pippo...Im not impressed with Pippo , but if we had Mancini we'd be in the same position hovering around mid table.
OK let's agree to disagree. City may've spent hundreds of millions but it's not like Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea weren't spending ridiculous amounts of money either. That's on top of the hundreds of millions they'd already spent before Mancini arrived. He still managed to outdo these big spending clubs with established managers within 2 seasons. Anyway, I guarantee Mancini takes Inter to a higher placed finish than Puppet Pippo.

Unfortunately Milan fans are spineless compared to Inter's. One pathetic banner, blocking one coach isn't enough. They needed to revolt in a stronger, longer fashion for any changes to happen. Unfortunately Curva Sud's on Galliani's payroll which is why they quickly stopped. Milan fans could learn a thing or two from our City cousins Facepalm
Agree to disagree...I agree Smile..Theyre not my cousins.I dont think Inter are a team to learn from.Theyre as poor as Milan. Both Milanese clubs are just non entitys nowadays. Its shocking how far theyve fallen how fast theyve fallen from UCL winners (both) to mid-table teams in a poor league.
We can definitely learn from Inter's example. Moratti sold the club to a new investor to grow revenues and provide funds. Can you imagine egomanic Berlusconi doing that? They hired a top quality (expensive) coach unlike Puppet Pippo who's got zero experience, free and Galliani's yes man. Most of their youth prospects are Serie A starters whilst ours have either been sold or rotting in Serie B. Finally, they're not afraid of making big money signings like Icardi, Hernanes whilst we continue accumulating free transfer trash. I also believe they're serious about owning their own stadium unlike us.

They may fail with this approach, but I applaude their effort. At least they have a plan and are following it.

Its amazing how opinions differ.
Coach : I say a solid coach good but not great.
Sold to guy that'll investt , well he is but not hugely or big signings. You're just going on MiLoan , Iardi & Hernanes are astronomical for us but not huge buys.Icardi is as inconsistent as any player Ive seen it may change as he's young.Hernanes has been a shadow of the player at Lazio. They have some crap also , Vidic has been bad Andreolli Campagnaro Kuzmanovic they have their share of fodder.
As for the stadium , as much as Im doubtful Milan will build one they've looked far more likely than Inter to do so.I honestly don't see them doing anything to applaud Icardi in installments Hernanes, free Vidic loan M'Vila are their bigger signings and judging any team by Milan will make them look like mercato gods..The good youth they have Bonazzoli Palazzi Puscas dont get a look in , and Obi isn't a youth player being blooded in yes he's young but he's 23/24 not some teen getting his chance.

Good but not great? Mancini's won 13 trophies in 14 years including Coppa's with struggling Lazio and Fiorentina! Give the guy his dues. Face it, after Benitez he's Serie A's second best coach. Re investing, I'm not just talking about players. Thohir's hired a number of Executives (including Man Utd's ex CEO) to grow the business.

Re signings, Icardi and Hernanes are as expensive as any Serie A signings nowadays (bar Higuain). Also, how can you slate Icardi when he's scored 7 goals/12 games (league) and 4 goals/5 games (Europa)?! They're fantastic numbers for a 21yo. Let's be honest he's far better than El Sharaawy. As for payment methods, who cares if it's installments? That's how all Serie A clubs operate these days due to FFP. At least Inter's willing to spend big bucks.

Re youth, Bonazzoli's already made his debut but can't be expected to play regularly at 17. Anyway, I'm referring to Duncan, Benassi, Cristieg etc who are all getting regular Serie A minutes. As for Obi, he's spent his entire career at Inter since 2010 so not sure what's your point.
Just like I was saying another high profile Exec joins Inter. Meanwhile, who've we got? Oh yeah Berlusconi's daughter with zero experience because she's free. Seriously, do we solely hire Executives/Managers/players because they're free?! DevilolFacepalm

Serie A's second best coach behind Benitez...Rafa Benitez Serie A's best coach.According to Jokka.

Not slating him , saying he's inconsistent , which he is but he is very young.
So just by paying big for Serie A standards makes it good ? Hernanes has been nowhere the player he was a few years ago.SES had a great 4 months 2 years ago , I never thought he was going to be a world elite player.

Bonazzoli is very good. You mean the same Duncan thats played 3 times at Inter ? way to blood him in , he's getting the Cristante treatment. My point on Obi is he's not a youth player just brought in , he's played for years here and there , and he had a loan season at Parma .So has played elsewhere.

I was actually just seing how far your applauding Inter goes , from board level to coaches to backroom staff players youth primaveras etc... they're like you're dirty secret.

So who's better than Benitez Einstein?

Again, how is Icardi inconsistent?! He's averaging more than a goal every 2 games which is great.

When did I say paying big bucks makes somebody good? We should know better than anybody after Matri saga DevilolFacepalm Hernanes may've struggled but being played out of position/managerial issues hasn't helped. Now Inter's hired a quality coach expect everybody to significantly improve (even Icardi).

Looks like you've completely missed my point about youth. I'm saying Inter's best youth prospects are enjoying regular minutes in Serie A (Benassi, Cristieg, Duncan). Can we say the same about ours? No because they're either languishing in Serie B or sold. Apart from 8 games, Obi's played for Inter every season since 2010. He played 13 games for Inter when he was Cristante's age.

Yes I admire Inter's business plan just like I admire Juve/Roma/Napoli. They've hired quality coaches, sign top youngsters, make marquee signings and develop youth. Hating on them just because they're Inter makes you a fool. DevilolDevilol
