Official: Suso to join Milan

Milan will sign Suso from Liverpool when his contract expires this summer, the club's television channel has confirmed.

The Rossoneri have been linked with the Spaniard for a long time, with the 21-year-old out of contract in the summer.

Now Milan Channel has confirmed that a deal has been reached to bring Suso to San Siro. The player will officially join on July 1, and will undergo a medical in the next few weeks.

The Rossoneri could even attempt to bring the Spaniard in January, although it remains to be seen what kind of fee the English club would ask for the player to allow him to end his Anfield stay early.

I won't be surprised if that happens. Nor will I miss him. He has done nothing except for a goal in a summer friendly. Certainly not worthy of this shirt (even with the lower standard these days).

Agent: ‘Essien won’t renew’

Michael Essien’s agent says his client is ‘unlikely’ to sign a new deal with Milan, with his contract expiring in the summer.

The Ghanaian midfielder has made just five starts for the Rossoneri this season, and is free to talk to other clubs.

I don’t know what will happen, but I believe he will not renew with Milan,” Fabrizio Ferrari told ItalianFootballDaily.

“Essien is happy at Milan, he could remain but it is doubtful. It’s a bit early to predict what will happen in June.

“Milan is a prestigious club which is difficult to get into, but also difficult for a player to want to leave it.”
