Under Milans current conditions, it would seriously offend me if I was a former Milan player and I was offered the coaching role after what`s happened with Pippo&Seedorf.
We need an experienced coach and investment to get out of this mess. Then we can think about hiring someone like Brocchi after he`s coached a small Seria a side for a few years.
TBF i think brocchi would make a good coach. Inzaghi's case is very different. He's not a good coach and if you think about his playing career: He wasn't a good football player. He was really ugly to see, but he scored a lot of goals.
He didn't have a lot of football intelligence as a player, why should we expect him to lead a team? He just seems clueless at times and really, appointing him to be the Milan first team coach was a mistake. He needs a few coaching courses and some hands on experience with teams like padova. Now seedorf was something different. He followed the Dutch coaching course and had a lot of football intelligence during his playing career. He was schooled by ajax in his jong days and you could see it in the way we played football. Last year I really enjoyed watching us, even if we'd lose. Firing seedorf, was a mistake. If seedorf had this team, we now would be in 3rd of 4th place. I am sure of that, because our team is not bad. We can get a lot more out of this team than what the table tells us. No, there are no true champions, but you can't call SES, Menez, Destro, Cerci, Bonaventura, Rami, Alex, De Jong (even if detiorating), Montolivo, Honda, niang and Abate are players for a mid-table team? They are each very talented and can give a lot more than just a 10th spot fight! Legend or not, Inzaghi is very limited at the time and many coaches can do a better job with this team. Bringing back seedorf would be an option i would warmly welcome (i am sure his player-relation was a rumour spread by our own management), but Galliani and Berlusconi would not do this as they have obviously lost it for several years now... 4 years since our last title :'(

Seedorf left because of players and coaching staff having problems with him. He was a guy who had his way of doing things, and had a strong character. He demanded accountability and refused to lower his standards to appease the players. It shouldn't be a surprise then that the players hated him. Players on this team are lazy, unmotivated and selfish and only wants to be spoon fed success instead of working hard to get there. Every week, some of them talk to the media and preach about working hard to improve. And each week, they are just as bad if not worse than they were before. If you have been working your ass off for months and still shows no improvement whatsoever, you are doing something wrong or just full of crap. And when it comes to Milan, full of crap seems to be the company slogan.

Haven't posted in a while.... but this is definitely worth it
http://www.wowbiz.ro/exclusiv-mr--pink-a...42025.html The news leaked 30 mins ago. Looks like Mr. Pink has acquired 51% of Milan and there are pics of him with Berlusconi in the link. I don't know if we can believe this. I am so excited for the first time about Milan in years.

Not going to get my hopes up just yet. What would make Berlu suddenly sell a majority share of the club? From the way things were going, I assumed we would only be selling up to 30%.
Siamo a posto cosi.

I mean he didnt have a lot of natural talent, he couldnt dribble, his shot was weak, did he ever made a flashy move? All he had was his intelligence and a nose to be at the right place at the right time. Thats what made him a legend.

Inzaghi was intelligent for sure. No way someone with his natural gift have the career he did without being smart and intelligent. But to call him the most intelligent player ever? That's overshooting it, man. He's smart, but there were smarter players than him.

Bee is still the likely option , he'll pay Berlusconi €268m for 25-30% , thats right he'll pay Berlusconi ...not pump €268m into transfers. The money will be used to cover the €70+ million loss of this season.€30m is rumoured to be used on the set up cost of a Stadium (but that looks more unlikey , as Fondizione Fiera want to wait until the get a higher bid for the land) .Bee coming in as has been discussed and reported elsewhere is likely to not make a huge change.Milans top targets are still Munoz Valdifiori and Baselli , Brocchi is likely to take over from Pippo and Bonera Abbiatti will be extended maybe along with Mexes on a reduced rate. Not tring to put a wet blanket on your excitement , but looking into it and going deep into it not much will change.Very similar to the Inter move and well look how that turned out.

He knew where he had to be and when he had to be there and yes that's what made him a great goalscorer and legend, but that is only a limited part of football intelligence. He was far from a complete player.
