You would hope Antonelli and Destro would be signed permanently in the summer though. And lets all pray De Jong stays and none of those returning players get in the team.
Yeah I agree hes hardly worth 16 million. If service to him improves he could be very good for us in the future though. Menez has already been talking about leaving to get back into the France squad so we'll need someone with an eye for goal.

I just don't understand.....we keep getting linked to strikers (not saying links are true, but looking at our history in recent years I tend to believe the links to strikers)! YET, clearly the problem is elsewhere. We have gone through a ton of strikers in recent times and they have all struggled...hmmmm....doesn't it occur to any of the geniuses in this club that maybe it's not the striker that's the problem??
We don't buy strikers to solve our problems or improve our team, we buy them to make Berlusconi happy. This is really nothing new to this team too. Even back in the late 1990s, when we had a piss poor defense, our answer to poor performance was still to get more strikers. Now, of course, in a stroke of pure luck, we eventually signed Nesta and solved our problem in defense (thanks, Juventus!). But the reality is, we only do things to make the boss happy, as Galliani continually to stress every time he is in front of a microphone. Not sure why that makes sense, but thats the way it works here.
Lol, forzaitallianfootball.com reports we will not sign Destro because we want to try for Ibra. Id love that to be true but... Yeah right
