And El Sha too. If you believe it we might give up on both Mastour and El Shaarawy for €21 million total (7 and 14 respectively). This would pretty much negate all the good things done so far. Why not sell Cerci and Menez for example?

Not sure how I feel about this. He's always said that he loves the team and I believe him. He has worked his ass off every time he's been on the field. However, the end product has at times been very disappointing. He has been very unlucky with injuries and to be honest, call me crazy but has been played out of position. I don't think he is a LW. I've always thought that he is a SS, so it's crazy to me that we are selling him now when we are actually going to use one.

I don't attach myself to players anymore, but I gotta admit...it was very refreshing to see someone give everything they have for the shirt and I do appreciate that. However, I am aware that this is not enough and the end product has to be there. It's no secret that SES has struggled with this and injuries have done their part. I think his talent is such though, that he can be a solid player...but no world beater. Maybe the club has decided that it's time we part ways with him. Im ok with this if it brings in funds to buy a creative CM.

I see no reason why Galliani would want to sell ELS... its not like we need to balance the books, nor is he surplus to requirements!

Besides if you're going to sell one of your youth stars of ELS' calibre, it better be for more than 35 Million!!!

Whoa, that ELS deal came out of nowhere fast. I can't believe we are dealing with these Monaco assholes after the whole Kondogbia fiasco. I would rather sell him somewhere else. But in reality, I guess a team like Monaco was the only ones ready to pony up the cash to sign him. No major club really wants ELS because of his uneven last couple of years. And if we did keep him, he would likely just sit on the bench most of the time and that's not good for his development. Monaco can offer the kind of stress free, pressure free environment ELS needs to develop his game at this stage. He can either explode and finally reach his potential, or turn into Balotelli, and staying with us probably makes it more likely he turns into Balo. It's always sad to lose a good young player, but I guess in this case it had to be done. ELS had three years to prove he is that star in the making, and unfortunately things just didn't work out.

I wish we can maybe get Anthony Martial and Bernardo Silva as a counter weight for the deal. Those guys are young and talented, and Silva in particular is a good midfielder who can solve our creative problems there.

The kid is talented, and very much hyped for a few years now and we have not seen any game action from him. At some point, he has to turn that hype into production, and I am not even sure he is doing that at youth level yet. He could be the new Messi and he could just as likely be the new Zigoni. And with his recent actions such as demanding first team football at age 17 and all, it seems like he has his head set on something other than working on his game. If that is the case, then we are not missing out on much. Mastour might think PSG is a better place to be, but what is the likelihood that he gets game time there?

For a team trying to reach for the Bayern and Barca models....selling players like ELS...Mastour...Darmian...Cristante....it is really speaking against a long term plan here. As much as a like Bee's investment and the new stadium where is the foresight?

To be honest I don't care for the difference between 14 and 20, he should stay. Mastour's value is unlikely to fall below the supposed 7, it is purely bad business in my opinion.

Should've kept El Shaarawy and Not purchased Luiz Adriano. A SES-Bacca partnership would have worked a lot better imo and if he was injured occasionally we still have Niang and co. to fill in.

Buying Adriano purely because he was cheap and selling SES is stupidity. He has so much potential even still.


Selling Mastour is also nonsense, loan him out or sell him to a team where he can play and develop and ensure there's a €20m buy back clause but don't sell him to someone like PSG for f**k sake

Selling young players before they mature is definitely bad business, no other way around it. But in the case of ELS, I think it's kind of inevitable. ELS really needs playing time to develop his game. He is already 22 and his window to stardom is closing on him quickly. Meanwhile, Milan is in a win now mode and can't afford to gamble on unreliable players like ELS. This whole thing is just a wrong place at the wrong time type of deal. As much as we all love ELS and wants to see him grow into that world class superstar here at Milan, we also have to face the reality that this guy has not produced anything worth value in two and a half years. if ELS leaving means we can get the defender and midfielder that we need, then I suppose the sacrifice is worth it.
