I'd pay Isco double what he makes now to come. It's so weird that he's been a rather fringe player at madrid given his quality . I personally never saw much special about James Rodriguez, and given that Isco is Spanish I thought he'd be the more important player.

My ultimate dream signing is Toni Kroos. Simple and extremely complete player. Has an amazing shot with unique technique, is the best player in the world at using both feet he truly does not have a weak foot at all. And his passing is amazing. He'd be a dream.

I'm really confused on seeing the news. On the one hand, I see there might be a push to get Witsel, on the other, Galliani is apparently trying to persuade Silvio to sign a midfielder, as Silvio's not convinced and doesn't want to spend 10m, partly because the club's already got a full roster of midfielders and none want to leave.

Sad for Paletta, as I believe he would be useful as 3rd choice CB, Glad Miha will opt for my preferred CB lineup, and HELL YEAH if Alex leaves and we get an upgrade for it.

Mihajlovic is going to go on top of my respect scale of he makes Ely and Romagnoli starters. While we already knew that Romagnoli would be a starter, Ely has obviously worked his way up. When he came here I didn't know if it was only a favor to Raiola, or if he was going to be sent out again just to open up space for the likes of Alex and Zapata, etc, etc.

The biggest thing for me is that IF he has outplayed the others in training and games (which in the games he has....so he probably did in training too) then he should start no matter what his age is, what his name is, how much his transfer fee was, how much he gets paid, etc.

I've been asking for this for a long time now. It's been a while since we've had a coach that would do that....bench useless players no matter what their name is and no matter what they make/how much they are worth. If Inzaghi was still in charge our starting CBs would be Alex and Mexes, and we would've gotten rid of Ely by now because he wasn't even going tobe given friendly minutes.

Corriere is speculating today that Honda and Montolivo could be offloaded if we bring in Soriano. To be honest I would have no problems with that. Montolivo is constantly injured, and his playing style doesn't really match Miha's tactics. Honda just lacks the creativity we need in the trequartista role.
