To be fair, Kucka for 3m isn't a bad deal. It is certainly much less risky than Bertolacci for 20m.
We have so many ex-Genoa players now. Niang, Antonelli, Bertolacci, Kucka. Did I miss anyone?
Sampdoria will not be selling Soriano after all, it seems. They did say that they didn't want to wait until the final days of the transfer window, as they want time to find a suitable replacement.
I am quite content with Kucka.
Great signing.
Can't really tell if you are serious.....

While I will be disappointed if Kucka is our last signing, especially for midfield, I don't think it's at all fair that we bash the deal and Kucka as a player. For 3mln euros its a bargain, and he's been playing consistently well over the last few years, already accustomed to Seria A.. He'll add some quality to our midfield, but does that mean I'm satisfied? Of course not, we still need another big signing in midfield IMO, and we could add a quality CB too if it was up to me.
HOWEVER, yes, as far as the Kucka deal I am also content with it.. but definitely not content with our mercato ending like this.
In all honesty, I would have rather not spent a penny on Bertolacci, bought Kucka for 3mln euros and then used the money saved on a real midfielder who could add more. I'm not so worked up on us spending 25m on Romagnoli because it's clear that one day or the next he'll pay it forward. On Bertolacci though, I think it was stupid. He has the ability to play off some nice first touch passes, and hypothetically in the system that we saw in the tim cup(but not against Fiorentina LOL) he should beyond succeed given his characteristics.. I feel like as an individual though he is not worth 20m, but the way we are aiming to play should compliment him.
AND in other news, there's speculation that Berlusconi already wants to sack Mihajlovic before its too late and we're in 10th place half way through the season. Montella will be watching the Milan-Empoli game live. We all know Berlusconi was fond of him since his Fio days too. Surely this wont happen lol!?

Agree..We got Money..Buy Cheap/Free Transfer Mediocre THEN "All Out" try to buy Great Player..
Wouldn't surprise if happen though..Strong Character/Outspoken Person never last long in Milan regardless of the result (ie Terim,Seedorf)

Even for Pippo who was on 700K, Milan was too cheap to let him go.
We are fine as we are..

Sacking Mihajlovic after two official matches would be madness on a level that I expect from the likes of Zamparini, not Berlusconi. I think Miha is going to do well at Milan, but he needs time to implement his ideas. Berlusconi has been in football for 30 years and understands this, as I'm sure Galliani and Barbara do too.
Opinions change fast in football. If we destroy Empoli 4-0 tomorrow, everyone's going to be calling Mihajlovic a genius and say that we're title contenders.
To fire a coach only days after saying that he is the best summer signing? Even for Berlu that's too much...
Maybe in a couple of months though! Haha
In any case, I think with the intensity that Miha has the team playing with, we will take a lot of points from smaller sides. For example, I'm extremely confident for this weekend against Empoli. And to be honest, as long as we beat teams like Empoli consistently l, then I can settle for some losses against teams like Fiorentina. That type of a pattern should easily have us fighting for the CL.
