LOL. I think the whole previous season he "played" for free.
Asking for any kind of transfer fee would be ridiculous. Sagrin
There are all sorts of rumours surrounding Hamsik's recent comments, with most of the Italian press convinced Milan will now sign him. De Laurentis will sit down to negotiate, despite saying he'll only sell for extortionate amounts, but it really depends on the deal we offer, and I think he'll seriously consider an offer of money (I've read 25million) + Cassano (who himself may see an opportunity to play frequently at one of Italy's top sides and in CL).

The deal is really complex, with many people involved. Galliani has done well to stay quiet recently, as saying anything could potentially piss De Laurentis (a difficult person to deal with) off. Raiola seems key to this deal, as he has been in touch with Napoli a lot recently and seems to have a vested interest in bringing Hamsik to Milan. What really complicates the deal is that Zamparini may be involved, as Napoli want Pastore as a replacement. The clown (actually that's an insult to clowns) has said Pastore either remains or goes abroad, and has been demanding ridiculous fees for Pastore. On top of this, he will be well aware of Milan's interest in the deal, and given that he openly hates Milan means that he could make the deal even more complicated. The silver lining is Zamparini and De Laurentis are friends, and therefore may be able to work something out.

Mano Menenez has also come out to say Pato could be the next great Brazilian striker after Romario and Ronaldo, despite Neymar getting all the attention right now. I'm inclined to agree with him, as Pato is one of the most phenomenal players I think I've ever seen (and I've seen some amazing talents since I started following the sport), despite his struggles over the last year or two. I'm really pleased to hear these comments, as he'll have lots of support at national level and Allegri's good with young talents too.
Personally, I do not want Hamsik in Milan now, mainly b/c I don't want to see a decline in play from Napoli and Undinese in CL. It will be pretty crap if they do a Sampdoria this year. But hearing that Napoli is considering getting Pastore to replace Hamsik is great news on all front.
As for Pato, I think he needs to learn to play with a partner upfront and stay healthy. IF he can improve on those two aspects, he will be unstoppable.
Am I the only one who thinks 25 million for Hamsik is really pushing it? Also, adding Cassano to the deal for free? I lol'd.
I have seen Hamsik many times last season and he is a good player, but is he a game changer or world class? I am not convinced.

For 20 million it would be a solid deal. Anything higher than that is ridiculous.

I have the same feeling too Flame. Neither Hamsik nor Pastore deserve the price tag their presidents have attached to them. Not even close.

It doesnt matter how much we got him. Cassano alone should be valued around 13 mil. + 25 thats like 38 mil for Hamsik. Seriously, what he has done to deserve that???? Being the third best player in his team.??!!!!

For that kind of money we can get both Ganso and Hernanes, and in my opinion Hernanes has been a better player overall than Hamsik this season. Even though this was his first one in Italy.
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.
ANGELO OGBONNA is apparently the new target of Milan – but competition exists.

After failing to sign Davide Astori from Cagliari, the Rossoneri are believed to be looking for another center back, and according to today’s edition of Tuttosport, they have put their eyes on a Torino defender.

The name is Angelo Ogbonna. The 23-year-old has been playing in Serie B for many years now, but his excellent performances with the Turin-side have caught the eye of many clubs, even outside of Italy.

According to the report, Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City are interested in the services of the player, who got the call from Cesare Prandelli this season, despite nothing player in the Italian first division.

The player is valuated at €20 million, but it appears that Milan have a plan to lower the asking price. Juventus have been following the player for some weeks now and are also in race for the player’s signature.

If I'm not wrong, the guy was paid during his first year when he was injured. He extended his contract with a free year. So if I'm not wrong again, he was paid until now ... Big Grin
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !

I'm with you. IF we want to insert Cassano in the deal, at max there should be only 15M cash involved. No more. I also wonder why people here rate Cassano so low... IMO he's Italy's best attacker now, and yet people here seems to be wanting him out.
MILAN! MILAN! SOLO CON TE!
MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!
Cassano and 10 million for Hamsik. He is good with potential to be great but he's done Jack.
Also Zamparini says Palermo has received a 50 million offer for Pastore from a foreign club he can't name...yeah right Zamp , if that happened we'd be hearing Pastore sold to whoever , driving or trying to drive up the price ...I hate that douchbag.
