Pato hit the bar in the first half. Ganso also plays. It's easy to see that Ganso is lacking match practice, he must do a lot better to convince any of our scouts. If they're there...

Neymar is ridiculous by the way....

Edit: and the coach takes out Pato for Lucas....i was hoping to see Lucas but he should have taken out Neymar instead
Both Neymar and Ganso were disappointing IMO. How they played for 90 min. is beyond me, but with this coach anything is possible. There was never a game plan,at times there were 5 Brazil players in a 10 metres square trying to do smth. Both Daniel Alves and Sanots were lost in space.

I think Ganso should be droped for Elano, and maybe Sandro can make a better impact than Lucas or Ramires.

Little disappointed at Robinho too.

I think the problem with Argentina and Brazil is that they have too much talents at hands and the coach just don't know what to do with them. How Hernanes, Jucelei and Melo did not make the team while Lucas of Pool made the cut is beyond me. BTW, where is Macerlo, oh, he did not get the call.

Not only per summer but also per player. Lesser price tag will bring less pressure. Imagine if Hamsik comes by 40M and he 'only' makes 5 goals and 5 assists? Or if he injured for 5 months? Fans will label him a failure, next season he'll be a real failure. Look at Dzeko, look at Kaka. Besides, we cannot let small clubs easily get money from us. How many times I said, my friends, this is millions of euro we're talking about!!!

caracciolo is a free agent as of now.. I think that would be a great signing as a vice-ibra because he's free, low wage and good in the air, something we don't really have.. and plus hes FREE, had to say it twice in my post just incase gallianis watching lolBig Grin..

AS far as ganso, im not so sure we should go dish out 30 or so million euros on him. I remember having this arguement with a certain someone who said playing in europe has nothing to do with how good a player could be in europe, i disagree completely, different style of football. so far ganso is failing to impress when it comes to bigger games then brazilian league and not under 19 under 21 w.e competitions i would much rather go for pastore.

If we had the money I would sign pastore and bale.. not many seem to understand that SPEED is a huge thing in modern day football and with high pace games like CL competition counter attack is one of the only ways you can hit barca or real where it hurts..

Caracciolo on a free, Pastore 40million bale 30 million. total 70million , we would be in debt a bit, but i dont think its possible to be one of the favourites for CL without it..

This is what media does to people. It makes you think that Pastore is worth 40 mil just because a certain Zamparini says so. And pls tell me how is Pastore valued at 10 mil more than Bale???!!

Again I said, isn't it quite pointless to seek some 'vice-Ibra' as we discussed before? Besides, what the heck does 'vice-Ibra' really mean? If it means striker with same characteristics with him but lower in quality, I guess Caracciolo doesn't suit it. Remember, Ibra is NOT only 'big, tall, strong in the air, powerful striker' as some people often generalize... he is also a good dribbler, creative, and has GREAT technique. If you want vice-Ibra, buy Romelu Lukaku. If by vice-Ibra you mean other big, tall striker with lesser skills... well I guess we don't need one.

Pastore is better? Yeah that's debatable, maybe you're right, but you can only say this AFTER Pastore performed for 2 seasons in Europe. By this time his price is already skyrocketing. With this mentality (buy only PROVEN players), that's exactly why we spend millions and millions for Gilardino (very PROVEN in OUR OWN LEAGUE, Italian league, that's exactly the best requirement according to your arguments), Borriello (same, joint top scorer of SERIE A before we re-bought him)... while we can invest in Kaka (VERY UNPROVEN in EUROPE, by your arguments), Thiago Silva (a FAILURE in EUROPE, Portuguese league)... Thank God our management doesn't have this way of thinking. We create talent and not find them, we are not Real Madrid.

Our opponent are NOT barca and real, dude. How many times should it be stated here? Your obsession with farca aren't healthy, really, same as Mourinho and Madrid's obsession only to beat them. Besides, I REALLY hate when we build team specifically designed to beat one or two certain teams... Look at Mou and Madrid's obsession to farca, that's disgusting, really. It's like admitting that you can't beat them with your own system so you should design a special system. Even if that's right, that's completely pointless... But in Madrid's case, it actually makes more sense because they're in same league and cup. But us? We already got Inter, Juve, Roma, Napoli, Palermo, Udinese, Lazio, Fiorentina et.al. to worry about... Design team to win Serie A AND UCL, whoever the opponent is... that is true world class team... Look at Barca, they DON'T design team to beat Real or ManUtd, they simply design team to WIN against anyone and they did it very well...

And Bale... face it dude, Bale isn't THAT world class... we don't play strict wingers, if he has to join us he should take defensive duty too, how many times I (and others) should tell you... Next time you want to post about Bale, well I can't prohibit you to do it, but at least consider my arguments before you do that.

See? That's why I dislike overpriced players. If Fabregas is 35M there's NO WAY Pastore is 40M and Bale 30M. Thank God our management aren't THAT STUPID.

Brazil were terrible in all honesty. It's like there was no gameplan, none of the forward players knew how to play together, and some players really underperformed (Neymar and Ganso probably the biggest culprits). Venezuela defended deep and in high numbers, as well as narrow. Brazil needed width, yet neither Dani Alves or Andre Santos provided it as even they came into central areas when attacking.

Fans won't forgive Prandelli if he leaves most creative Italy attacking player from Euro, especially after last World Cup fiasco with Gilardino et.al. Oh yeah, both Ibra and Pato also don't want to track back. By your arguments, Allegri and Milan should also discard both of them.

I disagree Cassano has no competition. Rossi right now is performing better overall and is best suited to Cassano's role (both can play together, but it requires a change in system). Anyway, Cassano will not want to risk his position in the national team based on assumptions.

Ibra and Pato still track back a lot more than Cassano, and through this season were tracking back a lot more (not always). They won't drop too deep, but they press opponents better and are willing to help defensively.

As I said earlier Liga is really not as weak as some give credits for beside the big two. While I would not say EPL was strong last year compare to a few yrs ago, they were still stronger than Serie A.

Again, if Cassano and MvB only came in Jan, then it still means we were better in the second half of the season than the first.

You say Liga isn't as weak as some say, but what backs this up. Besides Real, Barca and to a lesser extent Villareal (who were comprehensively outplayed by Porto), no Spanish team did anything in Europe. I'm not going to say Italian teams did great, but it's well publicised how little Italian teams think of Europa league, while Italian top teams aren't as good as as Spanish or English top teams.

However, in terms of overall balance of sides, Serie A is stronger than Spain or England, even if the top sides aren't as good.

Felipe Melo!!??!?!Huh What has he done for juve? And he was the reason why Brazil didnt go further in the previous world cup, Brazil hates this manAngry. I agree witht the rest though, Brazil lacked midfield, Ganso is still not match fit and Ramires and Lucas arent crative enoughOkmilan. A man like Hernanes should be in the team since he has experience against tight games where the opposing team parks the bus infront of the goal. Instead of Lucas Leiva I would put either Jucilei or Sandro since they are technically better, stronger and they can hold the ball, I havent seen much of Arouca but I think he could be a nice alternative (Brasileiro rates him very, very highly). I really want to see Marcelo in team but he was not called up due off the pitch problems. It would also be nice to see Hulk in the team but he would replace either Robinho or Neymar. What I also find unbelievable is that Fred is in the team, as Pato's sub I would much rather have Nilmar who brings a lot of speed or Leandro Damiao who is tall and can hold the ball.
For me Pato was the man of the match, every time he received a long ball he would control it beautifully and he hit the crossbar. Thiago Silva also gave nice long balls.
Agaisnt Paraguay I expect a much better game even though Paraguay is a much better team than Venezuela, Paraguay will certainly go for the win FTW, this will give more space for the magic quartet.

We don't need to worry about serie-A,we are the defending champion,Inter and juventus should worry, not us.

If you can beat barca, you can win CL,simple as that.with pastore and bale,we don't need to invest big money on midfield, why not them if you have the budget for hamsik(napoli ask 40 million for him, right?) and ganso(25million).with pastore and bale,we are designing a system to win against anyone, not anyone but farca.with pastore and bale,we can maximally maintain allegri's solid defence system which is the key to our success last season.

Your obsession with our no wingers allowed formation and cassano are not healthy, buddy! bale 100% tracks back better than cassno.I will bet big money on that.

Next time you want to post about no strict wingers, well I can't prohibit you to do it, but at least consider my arguments before you do that.Big Grin
