I agree Geo, but to be fair to Gazzetta I believe they said that Gattuso could be Milan's Conte. I've not read the full article, but I believe the point being made was both have the similarities I mentioned above and both could be following a similar career path, where Conte was managing at a lower level and then immediately jumped to Juve and to the top and if Gattuso can succeed this season and earn confirmation (which they specify is dependent on results), then he could follow a similar path the Conte.
I tend not to defend the press, but in this instance I don't believe they were reporting that Gattuso is basically another Conte at Milan, or that they are of a similar level at this point. However, the key points were Milan are willing to confirm him if he does well and if that happens, his career path isn't too different to Conte's career up to the point he was coaching Juve. Obviously then there's the similarities of intensity, personality and motivational skills mentioned before.
On Gattuso, Tuttosport is reporting he is considering looking at bringing in a new member to his staff who would be a specialist in attacking plays. It's no secret we've had difficulties up front this season and this could help improve the side's attacking movements.
