Well, I had a slight hope that Ibra would join but looks like thats ruled out. I would've like Ibra, he would've instantly brought us up a level with a few more good players around him.. Of course, we wouldn't necessarily be thinking about the future though.
Gazetta is now linking is with Milik. Again, not a bad player and ready to make the transition to a big club, however we should be focusing elsewhere.
There is also a segment that says Saponara is ruled out for us at this point because he would've only come if Giampaolo was coming. I have no problem with this. I've stated my opinion on him multiple times. I just don't think he has what it takes. I think we should be aiming higher. In other news, MilanChannel has officially been closed down i guess. I remember a story a couple of weeks ago saying that with the takeover, MilanChannel will be operated differently and will reopen under a "different" name or something like that. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Also, acmilan.com is down and until a few moments ago it only said "coming soon" on there. Does this have anything to do with the sale? I don't remember this ever happening before but than again, I'm not sure why the website would be down and why the "new owners" wouldn't just continue using it as it is and they can modifications as they please. Unless they want to redesign it by their own people and run it from different servers or something? I don't know much about this stuff so I'm just guessing ![]() I don't know....but is this really happening possibly?

![]() New links coming out today. Expected if I'm honest, one of them is Borja Valero. I really think the media are just taking blind shots right now. We've pretty much been linked to every midfielder that Montella has worked with (Badelj, Fernando, Mati, Valero). I don't think the links are real, but just to discuss them for the sake of it, they are all pretty decent with Valero I think being the best of the bunch (but 31). But if we want to reall upgrade the midfield and if we really have 100mil to use this summer, than we need to aim higher.
Valero Fernandez now Arbeloa , im not against freebies but Fernandez is 30 and knowing Milan will get 4 year deal , Arbeloa is what 32 33 same thing.Valero wont be cheap and at 31 id rather the money spent on someone else.
It actually looks like the sale will happen. So excuse me if Im not overjoyed at the Change being Montella Lapadula and a combination of Valero/Fernandez/Arbeloa/Konko/Ljajic/Pjaca/Pavoletti/Roncon/Vasquez

Yeah I'm not overjoyed either. Why the Chinese pick Montella, and approve Lapadula? I doubt they even heard of them.

I think there's a lot of rumours doing the rounds, mostly silly season now I think. Of all the names mentioned, I think the ones who could be of real use are:
- Pjaca: Discussed him a lot - Paredes: As above - Fernando: He impressed me at Samp and his athletic, physical and defensive qualities all impress me. He's also very solid on the ball too, a decent passer. - Zielinski: Very impressive for Empoli in the past year and is very talented. Personally I'm not fussed if we miss out on him, I actually probably Kaputska of the young Polish midfielders. - Milik: A bit like Zielinski, I think he's very talented and has a bright future, though I can live if we miss out on him. I'm in agreement with those who say we need a little more ambition too though. If we have a war chest to work with, a couple of these names, maybe a few is great, but I'd expect and hope for a couple of "marquee" signings |
