So apparently Gancikoff is present at the dinner with Galliani and Montella. This is according to Sky. If it IS true, than I think the announcement of the sale is just a formality at this point. Why else would Gancikoff be having a meeting with Galliani and our new coach if the sale isn't practically completed!

Musacchio may only cost €22-25M for Milan. This is the answer to our defensive problems. Zapata can make a decent backup if Musacchio or Romagnoli is injured/ suspended.

Kovacic links are getting stronger, and I think he would increase the quality in our midfield. Kovacic, Paredes, and maybe Badelj would completely revolutionize our midfield, so we should go for them.

As for the attack, Pjaca, Lapadula, and Bonaventura.

Backups that should come off the bench/ start a few games next season include: Vangioni, Abate, Kucka, Bertolacci, Luiz Adriano.

Also, I feel that Menez should stay. We don't have a lot of depth in our squad (assuming that the players mentioned above is all we buy), and Montella may be the right person to bring out the right personality in Menez. His talent is there, it's just his attitude. Maybe start when Pjaca/ Bonaventura gets tired, injured, or suspended, but he seems to be the only "super sub" we have.

Edit: Milan linked with Bayern Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah. He's 20 years old and had a breakthrough season for Leverkusen. He would be a great alternative to Musacchio.

It is impossible to be optimistic with Berlusconi but don't be surprised if in a few weeks we hear that the deal was "already practically done in June" and offficial announcement delayed because of stock market issues and fiscal year business.


I really hope what I just typed doesn't look foolish in a few weeks

Definitely points closer to the sale going through. It seems like Montella was an option both parties agreed upon, a part of me thinks Giampaolo would've been coach otherwise

Yet, I cant help but think Berlusconi had the major part in that decision, because he's always wanted Montella.

Galliani left the restaurant together with Gancikoff, and said the sale of the club is "well underway." So basically he confirmed it then (knock on wood).

Rugani would be perfect alongside Romagnoli.... I'd pay any price below 40m for him tbh even something insane. Would be a dream duo for the future.

Pelle rumours are exciting, despite that horrible penalty the guy is a beast at bringing the ball down and bringing teammates into play by doing so. Something we need IMO in tough games especially.
