Schwein would bring a lot of leadership quality and professionalism into the locker room, but his on field production is really terrible, and he is incredibly injury prone these days. He is basically a slightly better version of Montolivo. Given his age and salary, we are probably better off staying away from him, or else he is going to end up as another high salaried has been that we can't get rid of.
I thought people were actually joking when they said they wanted Schweini. Sure, he may bring a lot in terms of leadership but he can hardly run anymore, has never played in Italy before and may not even speak the language..
Siamo a posto cosi.

Think about it, if you run a local grocery store, and realizes that one of your employees has been stealing money from the store, what would be the first thing you do? You put a stop to it! Either you fire the guy or have a serious conversation with him, but you cannot and would not just sit back and go "oh, its all right, boys will be boys!" And that is why this milan management is profoundly confusing for me to watch. Bad management happens, but this team seems to take a very cavalier attitude towards it, and that is just flat out strange.
I bet you have some dirty secrets only that stealing boy knows.
about galliani and preziosi, i think this kind of relationship starts from the calciopoli, that is when galliani brought his doom towards us, and i am sure that gali got some ace card under his sleeve so that berlu cant sack him or even money laundering under the milan name for some corruption that berlu does when he is president.

I dont think Schweni is the right one for us, yes he has the winning mentality, charisma etc in the dressing room but he is not what he was 2 yrs ago when Germany won the Wc, his game has declined so much. We need badly one who can contribute on and off the field.

I think some of us are being a bit too hard on Schweinsteiger. He's not what he used to be sure, when he came on the field against Italy in the euro he looked like an old man (in his 60's ), but he's still more than capable of giving composed performances. I still didn't see him come near messing up a simple pass or wasting possession. He won't pull the strings like he used to, but if we can put two capable players on either side of him he'd definitely be 100% welcome and be our leader.
The problem is, we probably won't buy another good midfielder or two to play him with. In that case, I think he'd be ineffective. He can pull the strings but when you have Bertolacci and Montolivo to pass around the ball with, I don't see our midfield really improving. Schweinsteiger can play in a regista role playing simple passes and easily finding players when they're open, but we need a lot more than that. He's a silent luxury that we can add if we had a complete team imo, other than his leadership which would probably help right away.
I am also against this move. Not because that we can't use his leadership or we have better midfielders (we don't!), but because we need to move forward not backward. We certainly can't afford his astronomical salary either, so it would be a bad move on both sports and financial aspects.
I am still hoping for signings like Lucas Lima. But it is too good to be true with this stupid management.
De Sciglio's agent confirms that they are looking around. This would be such a pathetically stupid move. We are letting go of him to raise money to buy some mediocre midfielders ? We would be much better off just doing the Ital Milan things.
This is another decision without any future thinking. Sell him now to raise money in the hopes of a CL qualification. De Sciglio's sale would be a new low.
Ye do know Bastians current wage at Man Utd is €290K a week...or €15.3m a year.He aint going to take a 80% pay cut.
It is amazing to me that fans on other forums think that there is nothing wrong with Galliani's dealings with Genoa. That the new reports are just aimed to throw shit at him.
