It's water under the bridge now but we really should have gone after Thiago Alcantara some years back before he moved to Bayern. Would have been perfect for our midfield. I also remember the days when we were linked to players like Modric and there was actually a debate on the forum as to whether he was good enough ("Milan quality"). Ah, the good old days..
