I understand. But we gave Donnarumma a chance....and now people are open to a sale. He doesn't suck.
So we sell him...than give Locatelli a chance, sell him...and on and on! Where is the end? Companies that have to sell off assets just to stay in business don't make it too far. Sooner or later you'll run out of assets, and if you don't have a sustainable revenue, than you are dead. There are countless football examples of this. That's not the way forward.
The point isn't so much about Locatelli as it is for Donnarumma. I agree that we need to give Locatelli a chance, but when he is ready. This whole conversation started with Donnarumma so I think we are digging unnecessarily a little deeper than that. The whole thing started with people being open to a Donnarumma sale for 40mil+ because 40mol is huge for a 17yr old. It's ludicrous IMO. 40 is nothing in today's football world.
