What is Berardi really going to do at Juve? He's going to be third string striker there and ends up starting maybe 10 games a year, probably mostly in cup games. His progress will stall and he will basically have to start looking for another team in two years again. Juve clearly has incentive to sign him, as they want to improve their talent level while keeping him away from competition. But for the sake of Italian football, people better hope another young talent doesn't go rotting on Juve's bench.
