Wasn't there a bid of 60M for Bacca this past January? It is certainly understandable that Bacca be valued much higher. There a few good reasons IMO: starting player at a strong NT, has previously proven himself at higher stage (EL final in which he has scored twice), has the interests of big teams (Bayern, Real as far as I know). I understand that the age is not on his side, but at 30 he has quite a few years left and he would certainly thrive with the support from stellar midfielders that those big teams have.
I have to be honest and admit that I haven't watched him closely. For some reason, I just don't like him (to be fair, he doesn't have a punchable face like Conte or Lichtsteiner). What pissed me off with the news is that I believe that Juventus bought him last year at 14M. He isn't even a regular contributor to Juventus' success this season, why all of a sudden his value would more than double?
Lastly, I would refuse to do any business with Juventus. No good can come out of that.
