I must say, 3.5M a year for Caceres sounds absolutely ridiculous, even if he is free. I think that's how much we are paying Bacca every year, and Bacca is a much better player at a premium position. Caceres' versatility can be a real asset for this team, but in all honesty, I would rather we throw some money at N'Koulou. Younger, more athletic, less injury risk and room for upside, N'Koulou can be good for us in the short and long term whereas Caceres would be nothing but a short term depth guy, even if he is a great depth player.
I've been saying we should be signing N'Koulou for a while now. Very strong athletic defender... decent on the ball. Plus he's coming for free... Not the bext signing but could pay off. Worst case, we end up with another CB, best case we end up with a future first teamer.
Nefremo... Galliani doesnt need scouts... He knows everything about football. He can just look at a player like Agger and see quality!
I wouldn't mind Brocchi staying providing we sign the right players after the buy out... Only because, in my view, the "right" coaches are unavailable to us. We would need to take a risk with someone else anyway. With the top to choices being Pellegrini(not sure he would come) and Emery(heard somewhere he wants to stay at Sevilla)
