Realistically we're looking at one of Promes or Castellejo.
A month a ago we were out of Europe and had €0 to spend. Now we have Leo & Maldini running the show have got rid of Kalinic Silva added Higuain got shot of a disappointing Bonucci and his huge wage and added Caldara and will sign one more winger. We are in Europe again.Id of taken that a month ago.
We must always consider what we were before the takeover and what type of target we had at that time.
Honestly all said above disappearing as soon as I read names we have been linked after Leo is on charge.
We have very good transfer made until now but inside of my brain tell me that I still want SMS or Rabiot or even both.

Castillejo will join Milan on a loan deal worth 3 million euros, with an obligation to purchase set at 15 million. They are still defining these figures but the operation should be complete tomorrow between the clubs and the players, and Castillejo could even arrive in Milan for his medical visits.
The deal was unlocked a little while ago, after conversations between Leonardo and the president of Villareal.
Good pickup for the price. For me the preferred out of him and Promes. I remember seeing Promes when he first broke through and thought he'd be special... a few years on and he hasn't improved that much. Good backup but not good enough to fight for a starting spot while I think Castillejo is good enough to start on the left, can play RW as well as performing well in the middle of the park when used there.
Finally gotten a decent winger and the best thing is finally getting rid of Bacca who doesn't want to be here. We can now leave Borini on the bench or in the stands.
Hopefully we can still get the 1 midfielder we need, that will complete the team and enable us to get the CL spot next year. Montolivio, Bertolacci, Mauri are still here waiting to be sold.
I really am confused now. I need your help guys.
It is reported throughout the media that the transfer deadline for Serie A is on 17th of August.
But on the official site it is stated, that the transfer window for Italy will end more than one week later, on 25th of August to be precise. https://www.fifatms.com/de/itms/worldwid...s-calendar
I am still not sure what to believe now.

The correct should be August 17th at 20:00 local time.
Juventus battle Barcelona for Rabiot. We're not mentioned.

We should try to get some cash from Bertolacci ... but if Gattuso really believes the guy can do well, let's keep him.
Monto and Mauri ... yes, we need to tell them goodbye.
It's already a good mercato : our first team is better than last year with the same core of players (no need to learn how to play together this time), we have a more logical bench, more tactical solutions, and who knows ... if a guy like SMS arrives, we will add even more quality to our team.

So stop laughing at Juventus !
This Castillejo transfer is very confusing. We were looking for a LW but now we buy a RW who can also play on the left. Almost all of his goals are from cutting in and shooting withhis left. He's like a Suso with more pace and a little less dribbling and shooting ability. Does this mean we are selling Suso? Because if it doesn't this is a bad transfer tbf. I'm not being unrealistic and saying we should buy Martial or something like that but lets be honest it would be very weird if Suso won't leave.
Our new midfield is a reborn Bertolacci apparently Genoa doesnt make a move and Gattuso wants him to stay..

Why a bad transfer ?
The guy is young, it adds some competition on the right and Suso will have to play seriously in all games ... he will also be allowed to rest.
On the left, we can use both Calha and Bonaventura.
IMO, that means we're adding a midfielder in the starting XI. 3 days left for that ...

Castillejo can play perfectly well on both flanks, and he is a more natural winger than Hakan, who I hope will be moved into a central position.
He is actually a very good dribbler, and I think that you will be positively surprised by him. This is a perfectly fine signing, we get a young pacy winger who can go past opponents to sub for Suso or play on the left, whereas last season we were limited to just one player with those characteristics.
I commend Leo for the signings he has made so far in Caldara, Castellejo and soon Bakayoko. All young, all with lots of potential and with room in the budget for a potential final signing.
