Is that SMS you are referring to? You might hold some national grudge, but anyone who has seen him play over the last years would be outright ignorant to say that he is overrated. Stats don’t lie, nor does his numbers over the past two seasons, he is a true gem, regardless of his nationality.

I have issues with overrated players. 120 million? for what?
Make it half of that and then MAYBE he would be worth it.

EDIT: And dont try to make political issue out of it. I feel the same about Miralem Pjanic, who was rumored to negotiate with... was it United? for 100 m

Very good suggestion but it needs to be confirmed if he wants to join Milan. As positive as the management are now, we have to be realistic, not all players want to come to Milan right now. The news I have read since the take over of the club, mentioned type of famous players we are linked with:
1. the player has problem with the club (unhappy, not regular starter)
2. he still plays with club who are at best still as good as Milan with regard of the quality
3. expensive hot talents
4. freebies

I never read that we are interested in star who is regular starter for big european club CMIIW. So, I doubt Alcantra wants to join us since I never heard he has problem or unhappy with his current club.
