There is no denying that this will be a tough game, but not impossible to win. The CL dream is almost over.....but not quite. Inter plays away at Atalanta and there's a good chance they'll lose points. Then there is the Rome derby and it's a toss up. Point is, at least 2 of the 3 teams above us might end up losing points. IF we somehow win this game, we are right back in it as the next 4 games should be wins for us on paper (Torino, Benevento, Bologna, Verona).

It's not all over and if we manage to get back on track this weekend with a little help from the other games, the CL race might just go down to the last couple of games. It's worth noting that Inter will play Lazio in the very last game of the season while they also have to play Juventus.

The one reason for optimism in this match is Napoli are in probably the worst run of form this season and seem to be struggling to cope with the pressure Juve are mounting for the league. While we've had 3 negative results in a row, I don't think we've been playing particularly badly even if we're lacking a little sharpness.

I agree....definitely due a bit of luck in front of goal.

Not ideal with the 2 centre backs missing but as you rightly say, pressure does affect teams at this time of the season

If Roma can beat Barca 3-0 after being down 4-1, if Juventus can beat Real Madrid 3-1 at the Bernabeu after losing 3-0 at home, if Liverpool can destroy City 3-0 after what seemed like an invincible campaign by City, if Lazio can concede 4 goals in 20 minutes and be dumped out of EL after being so comfortable...........the why the hell would we not be able to beat freaking Napoli!?!?!?!?

Have some belief! If anything, this past week has shown us what football is all about and that ANYTHING can happen. No , it's not going to be easy...but definitely not impossible or even improbable. We have a good chance, we've been performing well and we are playing at home.

from what i've observed when we play really well (juve, arsenal second leg, sassuolo) we have incidents going against us and can't get the win. however, when we don't play so well (inter, lazio, roma) we manage to grind out a result! so hopefully we play badly tomorrow!

I actually look at it a little differently. Against Juventus and Arsenal, we played an open game. We tried to control it and got caught on the counter. So we can call it "playing well", but in actuality it was too ambitious.

Against Roma and Lazio for example, we were compact and didn't allow anything on the counter. I would say we played really well in those games even if it was a defensive mindset. We didn't get carried away trying to control the game.

I am not saying we should be a defensive minded team...but reality is reality and I don't think we're quite good enough to win games against big teams while playing open football. We simply leave too much spaces and in return don't capitalize on our possession.

This is another reason to have some optimism against Napoli. They will without a doubt have most of the ball and control the game....but this is a good thing for us as we have gotten our best results when defending in our own half and staying compact. In a way, Napoli will force us into this and if we can capitalize on our chances we can win.
