Put it this way, if we win the game in hand, we'd already be in the CL spots.

This was our 12th consecutive Serie A games that we conceded at least a goal.

As long as we score more than we concede it's ok. But I guess Donnarumma and the defense wants to break that run and hopefully will soon.

Calhanoglu was the one player that probably looked the worst for us today. He seems out of confidence. He is the one that shouod have come off instead of Bonaventura, but we were up 3-1 and Gattuso seems to have learned about player psychology from Ancelotti. Carlo used to do that all the time and he even revealed later on that he wouldn't take an underperforming player off until he did something good on the field so that he can leave the game with high confidence and not on a low.

Either way, we need a solution on the left wing. Calhanoglu is no winger. The more time that passes by the more we see that. Just look at the difference that a true wide player makes on the right. Immagine if we could have that on the left as well.

It's fine for now, but if we want another step in quality, then i believe this is one of the positions that has to be upgraded.
Also, to be clear, not saying sell Hakan, etc. He just shouldn't be the main left winer. Just my 2 cents.

Btw, I'd like to give Biglia props. He's been veey good the last several games and it shows in our build up. It's an essential position and he has to keep up this form for our football to be successful.

I love how the team tried to look for another goal even after 2-0. Perhaps they knew that conceding a goal was inevitable lol.

Shame that there's an international break when our perfomances have been encouraging.

Biglia made a great impression today. I think if Conti can come back and play like he did prior to his injury, we will hit that next level of performance. Our RB options are underwhelming. Chievo was really terrible though. Just so many mistakes.
