Milan vs. Hellas verona 15/09/2019
To be totally honest I'm not sure which Biglia you guys were watching because his positioning was outstanding. Yes, Bennacer needs to play because he's undoubtedly a talented player, but the best case would be to somehow incorporate the two of them in midfield. I think as of right now our three highest quality midfielders are Bennacer, Bonaventura & Biglia. Kessie & Paqueta arguably have their own 'specific' roles to play & therefore I still consider them important in the grand scheme of things. Calhanoglu/Krunic &co should be no more than rotational.

I can't laugh. This matter is concerning and can easily get out of control.

I don't care if Giampaolo is a tactics genius. If you can't get players motivated and willing to play for you, you are going nowhere. This report is very worrying.

And it is not like he is Capello, who hates Savicevic and Gullit, but at least had so many other talents to rely on. We don't really have that many good players that can be wasted through his bad management.

My issue with Biglia was that he wasn't aggressive enough to present for the ball when building up play from the back. He made his movements to open space but we need him to be a protagonist. The other major issue was his passing was also not aggressive enough. All lateral or back passes. In the second half when looking for goals, we needed more incisive passing and not just pure lateral passing lanes to wear Hellas out. Again we need this role to be a protagonist. Otherwise, he held the middle of the park fairly well and broke up play. For his salary we need more as he makes a better sub.

Re Pacman, I agree with you Xu. I'm also hoping that sometimes comments get mixed up in translation between the two. Let's hope this coach doesn't alienate the guys!

I wonder how much time needed for management to realize that Giampaolo is just not what they think he is...

I keep trying to convince myself that Giampaolo is the next SAF, and all we need is giving him patience and chances. It is getting harder and harder with each game passing, but I am not giving it up yet. Icon_lol2

My non-Milan fan friend is amazed that we had no shots on goal in the first half when playing against a 10-man Verona. He almost laughed his ass off.
