I've been impressed with Kessie today. Very sure on the ball. Him and Bennacer are doing a gereat job in that back 3rd. Now we need the AMs to do the same in the front 3rd...

Why is that not a PK???? Why? Arm on the shoulder, step on the heel as well. We get the most ricivulous PKs called against us.....

I noticed that when Bennacer was receiving a pass in the middle of the pitch he spent too long looking around and behind him to be sure he is safe before actually receiving or doing something with the ball. The team needs more confidence in themselves and those around them to be able to execute faster and better.

I read on Reddit Milan that this referee is one of those "anti-Milan" referees. I can probably go back and see if I can find the information again.

Agree. He's too safe at times. But the movement ahead of him isn't exactly great either. I think him and Kessie still moved the ball well. Slower than they should, yes, but still gave Castillejo/Bonnaventura/Hakan enough to work on. Only that the later 3 did nothing with it. The only good play I remember was the 3 man combination (Hakan/Rebic/Jack) that ended up in a sky high shot from Jack. But that started from Bennacer playing a vertical ball into Hakan.....which him and Kessie did plenty of times....yet Hakan/Jack/Casti did very little between the lines.
