What a game. Thought after two down there was no chance. I think there is something to playing at empty stadiums for these guys. They jeered so much.

Poor Kjaer. It seems like every game he is getting a damn ball to the face.

Wow! What a game. A classic!

We started the game well. Very even for the first 30 mins. Then after the first "water break", we finished the half weak and just sat back with Juventus taking control. I don't think it was a plan to do that, it's just that they picked up the intensity and we couldn't really find our way.

We started the 2nd half the way we finished the 1st one....sluggish and slow. The 2 goals Juventus scored 10 minutes into the first half were just terrible TERRIBLE HORRIBLE defending by our CBs. Both looked like amateurs. The first goal was bad...but the second was just embarrassing.

Than we started to play again. I'm glad that was called a PK. Bonucci knew what he was doing and led with his hand. Regardless, they have been calling PKs (against us as well) for any handball in the box. So a deserved penalty. After that, we just dominated for the next 20 mins.

What a game. I gotta say....there are still many problems....but I hope that this serves as a confidence booster to our players. As a self-belief that they can beat anyone in this league. Also.....Bennacer and Kessie...ANOTHER masterclass by these 2. Bennacer got even better as the game went on.

BTW....Kessie is so bad at shooting, that I think he was still going to miss that shot if it didn't take a deflection. Oh well! You gotta get lucky sometimes too.

Oh...and I wouldn't be so quick into calling for Pioli's stay yet. There are still 7 games. Let's see what happens. He certainly has the backing of the squad though and you can see that. I am also happy to say, for the first time in probably years, that Milan is fit enough to play high tempo football for the majority of the game. These guys are fit, and you can see the difference it makes.

Also, just saw Zlatan's post match interview, and it gave me goosebumps! This is the mentality that Milan players need. He said "We want to reach the Europa League, but I want to win the Scudetto. Because if you play for Milan, you play to win. With Milan, it's either 1st or nothing. Not 4th, 5th, 6th".

I know that we are a far cry away from being "Milan" that people know and the "Milan" that Zlatan is talking about....but this is the mentality we need. You can't play Juventus and settle for a draw. You can't play Lazio and be happy we didn't lose. This is Milan. You play for Milan. Act like it. You play to win every game, no matter who the opponent is. It needs to be THEM that are satisfied with a draw. NOT Milan. I hope our younger players understand that. Only self-confidence and self-belief is the way forward. Not doubts and fear.
