1) Not fully convinced by Pioli, but clearly there is improvement and after so many years of constantly changing coaches, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have continuity for once. No, I haven't forgotten all the shit games under him, but improvement is there for all to see and the fact he took over mid-season over such a mentally weakened squad has to be taken into consideration (and I guess be used as an excuse). At the end of the day, this is the true question....had be NOT had those great 20 minutes against Juventus and lost the game, would people still call for him to stay? Because let's be honest....we were second best in that game flr 60 minutes. We are all happy for the win, yes.....but the coaching sitauation must be looked at on a broad level. The mood wasn't such after SPAL just a couple weeks ago. Definitely not after Atalanta several.months ago for example.
2) The prospect of Ralf's scouting and development is exciting and if he's goven time (3+ years) we ultimately may be much better off in the long term. BUT, just like we any new coach, there is a risk that it may take several months for things to fall into place and thus we'd be risking throwing away yet another season
In short....I think Ralf is the man if we are thinking "long term". BUT, that msy come at the expense of yet another season. Pipli on the other hand may get us in the CL next year (assuming this keep gling the same direction they are....but during his career, that hasn't always been the case).
This is going to be a tough decision for the management. Especially if we keep winning and end the season on a big winning run.
So if we are honest, a lot of goals recently are like deflections, PKs, penalties, opponents mistakes. Now you can say that is luck OR you can say Pioli is organizing these guys so they are in the right places to succeed. Also as others mentioned, fitness levels are high allowing us to really play 90 minutes. For me, Pioli finally got his break in play to organize his guys to an idea.
I don’t like the idea of Rangnick as he has never really won anything (like Pioli) and his style is new to Italy, thus high likelihood it won’t work. At least Pioli appears to have the locker room and is putting players in the righ spots.
We all know where this is going though. Milan is about money and Rangnick will make us into a fancy Dortmund willing to sell our best for the right price no questions asked.

It's easy to ride the Pioli euphoria right now...but we have to look at the entire season in perspective.
Here is a quick breakdown of Pioli's time here:
Prior to COVID:
7 W
6 D
6 L
Goal differential: -3
Post COVID:
4 W
1 D
0 L
Goal differential: +10
He can't possibly be judged on post Covid numbers alone. We have to look at the whole season. And again...you could say he didn't have a pre-season, a proper market, preparation, etc, etc. But his numbers until June were really really terrible. Let's not forget that. 27 points from 57 possible. And during that time we dropped points against the likes of Sampdoria, Lecce, Genoa (who beat us in Milano), lost to Atalanta 5-0 in a game where it could have been much worse, never mind that we lost to every single top club.
As I said...clearly there is improvement, and the biggest plus for me if he stays would be the fact that we wouldn't be starting from zero again. But we can't blame the ownership/management for looking elsewhere also. If you analyze the whole season, Pioli doesn't deserve to stay. If you look at only the last 5 games, than yea, absolutely.
One thing which everyone forgets that we are playing behind doors, No spectators No Pressure(sadly in Italy you have to add No Racism too), that's why post COVID number looks so s*xy, otherwise, Pioli is above average kind of guy.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
