Week 34: Milan - Bologna July 18 21:45

Btw...does there have to be a cooling break? Even in the late games in northern Italy? Makes no sense. If it was in Miami Or Brazil...ok. but Milano, at 10pm? Give me a break.
It totally killed our momentum. The other thing...it's not meant to be a "half-time" with coaches coming onto the field. You literaly send your medical trainers out there to give water to your team and you resume in 1 minute. They take 3-4 minutes to resume the damn game. It's insane

Overall, I am not too upset. Ibrahimovic should've run more; Romagnoli was responsible for that goal, leaving no chance for Donnarumma. Other than those, I thought we were okay.

I hope that we will score a quick 3rd goal to calm the nerve. With a master in Mihajlovic, you never know what may happen next. They pulled off a miracle against Inter Milan at San Siro not so long ago.

The referee sucks by the way. I will say all Italian referees suck these days and are biased against us.

Honestly let Leao play. Other players need to pass to him but he has better interchange and won’t mess all the passes. Ibra is terrible.

Yes and No, IMO.

I don't think a cooling break is needed in Milan at 10PM. Maybe they drink hot chicken soup, so it is a warming break. Grinundwech

yes, it did kill our momentum, and that was the first thing that entered my mind when that stupid break was taken.

But I am sure that coaches can shout all instructions all the time anyway. There is no noise with no fans.  Icon_lol2

Think it's precaution due to Covid, considering its suppose to affect your lungs and stuff.

Players have been tested positive, and whilst the full effect of the virus hasn't been explored, people who've recovered have been known to have reduced lung functions by around 70 to 80% of their original capacity, so.....

Haha yea, I get that. But it's slightly different when you get get everyone in a huddle, calm them down and get them all on the same page. Again, it's not meant to be that so that part has to be regulated. You can't stop coaches from coaching...but god damn, don't give them 3-4 minutes in the middle of a half to get everyone in a huddle.

A bit nervous about the 2nd half tbh, defensively we haven't looked super solid, and I think Bologna will probably be better than in the 1st.

We have benefitted from these a lot. Most games we are tied or down at the first break

I am nervous too. Their wonderkid Barrow was on the bench for the first half, and who knows when he is coming in and do something crazy against us.

I said in the match against Parma that Romagnoli can sometimes be so terrible in 1v1 sitiations. That "sometimes" is now turning into every game. It's not a good thing. He has to be better than that. Parma had 2 of those and we are lucky they didn't score from them.

On Ibra....he is done. Sorry to say this, and yes maybe he's brought some winning attitude to the side....but that's about it. You can't play football standing. And if you do, then at least be appreciative of all the players around you running double the distance because you won't even move 10 meters. On top of that, when you make so many mistakes on the ball, and when you don'tput any effort defending after you'vemade a mistake......the least you can do is not yell at players around you every stinking second.

If we are going to rely on this Ibrahimivic next season...we can't consider ourselves a serious club.

Reality is Ibra has always been this way....but back in the day he could decide the game for the team. These days he doesn't. So not quite sure what the benefit is anymore
