Week 4: Inter - Milan October 17 18:00

I think, the players should just focus on how to deliver a series of great forms. They should just think how to repeat what they did after Covid-19 break. The maximum we get from this game is only 3 points. I know this is a derby and winning a derby is something different compare to beating other big teams but this game should not disturb the pursuit of our main goal, play well on regular basis and the rewards will come automatically. As Maldini said, we don't set limit for this team.

Gagliardini and Naingolan are covid positive, like Skriniar and Bastoni.
I hope this game will have to be played Big Grin

All we need is Lautaro and Lukaku now! Big Grin

Jk. I'm not wishing illness on our opponents. I am interested to see what happens though. Rules are rules. If you have 13, you need to play. We played without Ibra and Duarte. As a matter of fact, both may still be positive and not available for the derby. I don't want the rules to start changing now.

Wish all affected the best.
This is going to be serious for at least fall and winter, hopefully by spring there is some medication or vaccine. I am not for '13 available game happens' rule because travel is increasing risk by itself, but of course no one will agree to stop football so hope for the best.

I don't necessarily agree on the "13 player rule" nor do I think it's the most fair and best solution. But my point is that this is the rule nonetheless. It's the same for everyone. Why were we made to travel and play and Napoli gets to reschedule??? The situations between us and them were no different. We had 2 players positive and so did they. If the league starts allowing reschedules, then what's the point of a rule?

We all need to be reasonable and cognisant of public health. But the decision of playing or not playing games needs to be fair and equal for all.

Local and health authorities need to work with the league. But it seems everyone is doing their own thing.

I always wonder if football wasn't driven by so much money, would it actually come to a complete halt?

I actually think the international matches shouldn't be played. I know that's hard because there's Euro qualifiers, but friendlies 100% don't need to be played. I mean what benefits are there for Japan Vs Cameroon?  Russia Vs Sweden?

But yes, league's are going mostly for cash.

Bring the best team. Our young team need experience. What I only care is this development of this team. If they can't survive against big team in Serie A, don't ever dream to succeed in CL.

I think our players grew last season post-covid because we beat all our big opponents (except Atalanta).

Actually, this derby, for our young team, will either be a boost of confidence if we win, or an easy game to forget if we lose as it's a derby with Inter being the favorite.

What is good for our team is that despite this 17 or 18 game unbeaten run, we're still seen as the outsiders in these games against the other top teams. What will be interesting then is to see how we react if we keep winning and tend to become favorites of our games against other big teams (like it should always be for a club like us).
