Week 9: Milan - Fiorentina November 29 15:00

Atalanta is having horror show in league this year and are well flourishing in UCL, it was opposite last season...I think Gasperini has decided to put all of his energy on UCL to go further then what they did last season, sacrificing league for that as there is more money in Champions leagueBig Grin  but I am bit kind of sad to see players like Pessina, Miranchuk being benched for players like Illicic who still haven't yet recovered from trauma of his wife banging another guy Sagrin and it's looks like age is finally taking a stroll on Papu Gomez's career.

As expected Bennacer is not called up but Samu is out too.

Donnarumma
Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo
Tonali, Kessie
Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Diaz
Rebic

Tough game. Fiorentina are better than what they've shown. I hope Prandelli hasn't worked anything with them just yet.

I'm going 2-1.

Rebic, Bonaventura, Diaz.

Fiorentina on paper should easily be an EL candidate. But Fiorentina on the field hasn't shown anything more then a relegation battler. Often times, teams like Fiorentina need a spark. Something to get them going. They were hoping that Prandelli will be that, but hasn't happened so far, even though it's only been 2 games with him in charge.

I saw their first game under Prandelli vs Benevento and they looked dreadful. I didn't watch their Coppa game vs Udinese, but seeing as they needed a goal in extra time to win 1-0, it tells me they didn't improve much since Benevento.

I know they have good individuals and they are underachieving....but we should win this on confidence alone. San Siro, top of the leaguе, unbeaten in the league in 20+ games, playing some great football.....Fiorentina will have to look for its "spark" some other day. It's not gonna happen om this Sunday!

Forza Milan!

Thus far we've seen Tonali share the pitch more with Bennacer mostly.
I'm actually pretty excited to see how he'll play with Kessie when he can shoulder less of the play-breaking responsibilities, and more of the playmaking ones.

Hope Alessio is actually fully fit now, but if not then thank god Gabbia is there as backup.
I feel like Salemaekers stabilizing the RW spot will be crucial for us.
Hopefully Hakan won't play as shit as he has been doing for the past 3 to 4 matches, otherwise I'd rather we start Brahim over him.
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz  Devilcool

Tonali as i can see gets lost between attack and defence. He doesn't go down as bennacer and kessie do to get the ball running and distributed. All he is trying to do is open gaps for defenders to pass the ball up front.

This needs some serious coaching work here ... JUST TELL HIM TO DO SO AND SO. ABC

Serious coaching = Just tell him what to do.

Why didn't anyone think of that before? Icon_lol2

You are over estimating Sassulo, Napoli was the only decent team they met and they didn't played well. Napoli self capitulated with their horrible finishing. Sassulo will soon drop more points as they meet roma, Milan, atalanta, juventus, Lazio. Their football is not top 6 level.

Fiorentina needs a good coach appointing idiots like Prandelli, Iachini and Montella is like taking a step backwards. But who cares? We don't need another Top 4 competitor.

Midfield of Kessie and Tonali will get completely dominated today by Fiorentina mids, if they carry on the momentum from last match against Udinese.
