To be perfectly honest, I would give a break to some players in EL games, even at the risk of losing. And I would be very happy if we get 11 points out of 15 available in December. There are no easy games, all opponents are tough ones. It is very important we enter the next year as frontrunners. I believe that this will push the mgm to spend, as we need couple of signings to maintain our spot. We need a vice Ibra and one RW fighting with Alex.

If there are no funds available for vice Ibra ( I would love Belotti) than I would go for Mandzukic (where is he now?).
No ho visto Superman volare, ma ho visto Super Pippo segnare. I supereroi esistono davvero.

to be honest, i would give up on this EL story this year. Lets get eliminated and concentrate in Serie A. Champions League is what we need and want, let others win the useless EL competition.

I don't think we need to give up EL. 2 more games there and we get a break from it until late February (assuming we move on). It's important to be involved in Europe. Maintaining a presence, potential games with big clubs later on, coefficient, etc. Also from economic perspective. For a club that barely cracks 200mil in revenue...the potential 25mil from EL is significant. Just to put that in perspective, it covers a quarter of the players' salaries.

What happened last year thenBig Grin

Europa league helps to keep the rhythm of the team, boost the confidence of out-of-form players(scoring against weak teams) and last not the least to remind Merda fans that they haven't won a trophy since last 3474 days Icon_lol2
