Week 32: Milan - Sassuolo April 21 18:30
Guys, the CL race is over unless Torino pull off a miracle against Napoli tomorrow and we beat Lazio on Monday. I think this is it. This was a match we needed to win. And I don't believe for a second that the team wasn't influenced by what's happened in the last 72 hours. How could they not be? Remember the chaos when Boban was fired? We lost the next game at home against Genoa. When there are serious problems on a corporate level, it affects the team, maybe more so our young squad than more experienced teams like Inter and Juve. This defeat is not on Pioli or the players, it's on Gazidis and Elliott.

Missed the game but it seems any remaining hope if CL is done for another year.

Serious question: does Pioli have a plan B?

If Pioli had a plan B, he would've deployed it at this point. We have no other plans, our players are literally always injured, we have no depth and the players don't have the right attitude to fight for results. Looking at the fixtures, we have at least 3 more losses coming our way. With a 3 point lead between us and Napoli after tomorrow, and the form they are in right now, we are not going to make it. Sorry to say it, but that magical first half is going to be completely wasted.

Barely has a plan A. Same tired tactics playing his favourites and clueless how to change things up. Opposition teams have him sussed out, this Milan team is now so predictable and easy to play againstĀ - witness the dreadful run in 2021. Its now 4 months and he still has no clue of how to stop the rot. Classic Pioli its the same old pattern which has seen him sacked everywhere.

Need a new coach and new ideas desperately.
