Mike Maignon is having a fantastic first half. At least three quality saves.

Leao with such disappointing quality in the final third. We really should have scored in the first 30’.
TBH Romagnoli Tomori partnership should be our starters.

This game shows that either Pioli switches out the double pivot when Kessie is out or bring in more players. This just can’t due.

Pretty decent display in total, but much thanks to the defence where Maignan was sublime despite an early howler. Also really solid from Tomori, Romagnoli and Theo. Calabria had some problems with Rodrygo, but else really good. Tonali works hard but does tons of mistake with ball. He is a liability. Krunic bad, hope Pioli also sees this now. Diaz gets eaten up because of his physicality. Great sweaty work from Alexsis but not much quality, Leao started really brightly and i think he did a good job, really should have scored or assisted. Giroud was isolated but did nothing when he had som spaces. A bit dissappointed with the frenchman.
Short summary: No surprise: We need a top ACM and a top RAM, Saele and Diaz is not the quality we need despite their great work rate and desire. |
