Will we redeem ourself against the old lady? Extremely important match on Saturday evening. Good news is that Theo is training with the team, and probably will start. Kjær, Maignan, and Messias are working individually, but will soon be back.
De Sciglio(Injury), are the only absent from the Juve team, together with Pogba and Chiesa.
This will not be easy, but if we want to show that we mean business also this year, we must beat them. If we play with intensity that we had against Napoli they dont stand a chance. Juve have hard working players and a very physical, but they lack pace and intensity, i would definitely consider Rebic from the start, and let Giroud get som rest. Rebic has great stats against Juve, and we need to stretch them as much as possible, Rebic is a lot better in that phase. And please no Krunic as a RW...
My lineup would be:
- Tatarusanu- Kalulu- Gabbia- Tomori- Theo- Bennacer- Tonali- Diaz- De Ketelaere- Leao- Rebic. Personally i would go for 4-3-3, or 4-3-1-2, but i know Pioli would not go there so it had to be realistic. I absolutely dont trust Dest and FBT, so i would rather play Gabbia who was good against Chelsea. His lack of pace will be helped by the other three pacey players in the back four.
I love comparing, so i would do a little comparison player for player from 1-10 for both teams. This is probable line ups from journalists and newspapers:
Milan:
- Tatarusanu: 5.
- Dest: 5.
- Kalulu. 8.
- Tomori: 7.
- Theo: 9.
- Tonali: 7.
- Bennacer: 7.
- Krunic. 6.
- De Ketelaere: 6.
- Leao: 9.
- Giroud: 7.
Juve:
- Szczesny: 6.
- Cuadrado: 7.
- Bremer: 7.
- Bonucci: 7.
- Danilo: 6.
- Locatelli: 6.
- Rabiot: 6.
- Kostic. 7.
- Di Maria: 7.
- Vlahovic: 8.
- Milik: 7.
Total Milan: 76. Total Juve: 74.
Forza Milan!
