Is he brother of Manuel Neuer? So whats the deal behined bringing a 3rd gk? Is Abbiatti still #1 choice? Is the new gk any good? Anyone!!!! Plz someone just tell me that he as as good as Neuer

What's your obsession with neeur or however u spell his name.. Cech played alot better then him in the final imo.
He's not the next neur He's the next dida or next cesar

Plus the way he stopped Madrid and specially that hate-able Critiana & then in final having the guts and showing cool to take a penalty while that gutless Robben wetted his shorts, is something to really admire by fans, even non-Bayern ones. He deserved the UCL more than anyone, but never mind, he will get Euros instead & I guess Euro trophy > UCL, right? Anyway what are the chances that he will get any playing time? Abbiatti is good, but not great like Neuer, Casillas & Buffon. Amelia is also good but not great, any one thinks that this guy could become our #1 any time soon? Maybe he should be give a 5 game period to prove his worth i guess ...

Don't want to add much, but Neuer is one of the best goalkeepers around. Yes, Cech is in his level; surely he is on par with him.

zvonomir i completely agree with you, but seriously mzk ur going to compare him to maldini and shevchenko and maradona? Let's get real here.. I don't rate him anywhere near buffon either. Once he makes 5-6 breathtaking, game saving saves in the world cup and go onto win the world cup (referring to the 06) plus plays solid his entire career into his late 30s then ill say hes close to buffon. As of right now he has 1/10 of what buffon has accomplished.
You compare goalkeepers to players, where maradona and everyone you mentioned are legends in the game. Both cech and neuer will go down in history as very good goalkeepers but nothing more And tomasson, seriously i liked the guy but really
