There are things Giroud is a top player for. One of those is headers and 1-time finishes in the box. There are things he is terrible at, being link up play, and general involvement outside the box. He is a good player to have around. Classical CF. But I'll maintain, he should be a "supplemental" player at Milan and not the 1st name on the lineup sheet.

Giroud is one of those who you don't sub unless they're injured or completely exhausted, no matter how bad they are atm, because he have ability to shine in the moment and score. Not first time this is happening.
Avaiting for arrival of exorcist into our boardroom.

Should be. But every time they play they seem to get the same kind of criticism as Messias. For a reason.

Agree to diasagree arildonardo.

Lucky to have a goal going into halftime. Draw would be more fair. With that said, I would love to secure CL for next season with a win today. Giroud, Messias and Diaz with so many give aways it’s not funny. Putting a lot of pressure on the mids and defense. That is exactly what we need to avoid as a draw is all we need.

We need to be more restrained with possession. Pretend like we are playing Spezia. No dangerous passes and just hold onto it for 45 more minutes. You know, pretend like we are trying to score without doing so.

Tomoris defence on that Kean chance was laughable. First he just got away from following him, then a completely misjugded tackle. Actually funny to look atTongue.

Otherwise a balanced first half, not good at all, but nice to have a lead. Leao really has to step up. Extremely poor first half.

Off topic, Kean was a player that I was hoping to bring to Milan a couple of seasons ago. I think he had a very promising start of career and a lot of potential.

I haven't paid any attention to his progress since then. (In general, I haven't had time or interest to watch anything/anyone outside of Milan.)

Yeah but the give aways just kill any offensive movements. Unless you put it on his head or preferred foot, he does little for us offensively. That invites pressure

Not sure I agree with myself really, so you're free to disagree as much as you want. Icon_lol2

It's just that we have so many players who are are disappointing us time and time again. No matter who plays we are let down it seems.

Someone please tell Pioli that he IS allowed to make a substitution at halftime. Messias is on a yellow. And it's not like he lit up the field on fire with his performance. He should not be out there now risking a 2nd yellow
