Good to end the year on a win, even though the game wasn't great and it mattered little overall.

Forza Milan!

That Ibra send off was pretty well done too. I can't even imagine a tough guy like Ibra crying like that for anything. Even though he came back so late in his career, Ibra still brought us a lot of great times and it is hard to see him go

So, Spezia and Verona have a relegation play off to go with the Serie B promotion match- Bari vs Cagliari.

Nearly retired Mirante got more mins than prisoner Adli.

Pioli really does HATE him.

We have had many greats at Milan, but if really does end the banter era (stadium needed to make it official) Ibra will be one of our top players and Maldini maybe the greatest person in Milan history (between playing and admin career).

However, this game perfectly exemplifies why Pioli must go. No matter the day, the on field problems remain unchanged. Give Leao the ball and pray. That is no way to run an offense.

I'm so glad Diaz is leaving (hopefully). What a "tunnel vision" type of player. Always, ALWAYS holds on to the ball too long. He could have set up several different dangerous attacks and maybe even had an assist or two....only if he could release the ball sooner. The passes are there. Players are open. But for some reason Diaz wants to take the ball up himself. It's infuriating. And it's been happening game after game.

Anyway, in general, this game highlighted what we've been experiencing all season.
1) Slow build up with ton of horizontal and backwards passes.
2) Ron of technical mistakes. Simple ones at that too. Shocking that our CB (Thiaw) was the best passes on the field, also playing vertically more than our CMs.
3) Dominating possession, not doing whit with it, and conceding late (good thing we actually salvaged the game this time)

We need changes and quality. But it seems everyone agrees with that now judging from Pioli's and Maldini's interviews. The ball is in Gerdy's corner. Lets's see what happens.

Lastly, sad to see Ibra go from football. In a way, this defines an era for me. He was pretty much the last of his kind and his generation.
