However, the disagree on Lukaku. He is perfect player for us, no doubt. But I think we were right to pass him up. We already have a new set of players. Better not to disturb the locker room. His inter past worries me primarily. It would lead to too much drama.

My 2 cents on this draw

BVB - easiest team in the group, German clubs except Bayern are beatable as they lack tactical football and mostly play monotonous attacking game. Just need to play our natural tactical approach. Remember a much worse Lazio team defeated a much better BVB 2 years ago with peak Sancho, Haaland and Bellingham

Newcastle - Emotional game for me to see Tonali playing against us Sad  Good team with physical attributes and would be a tough opponent but last not the least we have defeated a much stronger Napoli squad with a worse and injury inflicted Milan side last season, C'mon we can still have this and Newcastle is still managed by a Englishman who have history of stinking in European football in general. My expectation 4 points in 2 legs

PSG - toughest of all. Expect to atleast snatch a point in 2 legs that would enough to see off them.

Prediction

PSG
Milan
Newcastle
BVB

Just need to maintain our full squad and we can progess further. Funger crossed

Folks
I live in Edinburgh and have previously visited Milan with my visually impaired son who is a massive football and particularly Milan fan.
I have done the commentary for him for over 25 years and we were  greatly received  on both occasions we visited the San Siro.
He is desperate to attend the match at Newcastle, does anyone have any advice on the best way of obtaining tickets for this match.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

That would mean that we could make it to the final, a step forward compared with last season. I will take it. Sagrin

Actually, on a second thought, I would rather lose in an SF than in a final. The heartbreak is unbearable. Inter5ow

Most of you have made eloquent speech, so I will just keep it really short. Smile

I think we can do it. It is a shame that our boy Tonali isn't with us any more (and he will play against us Sad) but we are indeed stronger than the past. Though our team still isn't complete that we still have a few relatively weak spots on the field, at least we no longer have big holes any more. Anything can happen in any given game, but there is absolutely no reason to be afraid of any other team.

Of course, squad management is going to be a big challenge for Pioli, considering the annoying schedule early on. I hope that he will do better than last season (to be honest, that shouldn't be too hard because last season was just a disaster. We got lucky in the end with Jube penalty.)

Book from Ticombo site and do as early as possible when fixtures dates are confirmed. Key is early booking

I think the unlucky part is we got Newcastle for Pot 4, as they are stronger than any team there by a mile.

Dortmund could be counted as a lucky draw as they are the weakest team from Pot 2.

PSG is an OK draw as they are not very strong or very weak in Pot 1.

So, forza Milan!!!

It could have been worse. We could have gotten City and Real from pot 1/2. Getting Dortmund from pot 2 really gives the possibility for 6 points against a pot 2 team. PSG is good and without primadonnas potentially even better this year then what they've been in the past. But still I'd rather them than City/Bayern/Barca. So it could have been worse from pot 1 also.
When it comes to pot 4, tgere's no fluffing this one up. We definitely drew the worst possible opponent from there. It'll be fun though (I hope), that's for sure.

Yeah, and it is a blesing in disguise as all the matches will get the attention from football fans around the world.

What could be a better come back, especially we now have a very promising squad.

Pulisic going back to Dortmund.

Tonali (and Heffernan!) Coming back to Milan.

Dollar coming back to Milan. Theo vs Lucas.
M'bappe to fulfill his childhood dream and play at the San Siro. Just have to wonder where Kylian's mind is at since he is leaving P$G.
